Ashoova streached as she got up for a new day in the lovely world of Jade. Jade Mirrored the world called earth but with a few distinct differences. Here in Jade other then minor modern convieniances (TV, Dishwasher, Vaccum, cars, ect.) the world was ruled compleatly by magic. Modern weapons of warfare were not even heard of in this place and time where battles were fought and decided buy the clash of swords or thump of a war hammer.

Ashoova was lucky enough to be the Master smith and main supplyer of weapons to the surounding area as well as the Librairian and Keeper. of the Museum Of Ancient and Mystical Objects. (it has a library that is used by many magic users to for reserch. Some of the book are... well... lets just say they don't like to be opened). It was a lovely spring day and Ashoova the Nine tailed Kitsune that she was Adorned her usual wear and headed for her Forge to Continue work on a particularly hard Item she had been working on the past few days. Slung across her sholder was her Favorite weapon her Bleeding Soul Hammer. It was forged with half of the users soul and could not be broken (or at least she hasn't found anything that will break it yet. And yes she did try to kill it. Why? Your guess is as good as mine.).

As she got to the forge she streached out her muscles and flexed a few times. Normally she did not look to musclular more like she was simply well toned. However, when she flexed the true depth of her muscles were shown and could put a body building dragon to shame. (she doesn't flex much around her friends cus frankly she a little ashamed of her muscles. they're not very "lady like"). Though it was still only 6 in the mourning Ashoova would begin to bang away at the pice of Death Metal (increadibly strong, hard to melt, and hard to work with.) Trying in vein to get it into the shape she wanted it. Finally getting fed u with working on the cold steel (she avoids the use of fire when ever possible) she Desided to smelt it first.

Grasping the metal with some tongs she effotlessly lifted the 8 cubic 20 ton pice of metal on to the smelting area above her kiln. (modified to get as hot as a supernova if needed.) She turned the kiln on half heat and watched as the metal quicklly melted and formed into a molton bar. Placing heat resistant gloves on her hands shhe let the metal solidify just enough before she drew it out cooled it.

Moving to the front of her store/house/forge. She flipped the sign from closed to open and sat at the ounter and awaited her buisness. behind her on the wall a plaque stated. "If you can't lift it you can't buy it" and directally below was another one that said. "I am not responible for any injuries you may get while in my shope Upon walking in you state that you are compleatly responsible to anything that may befall or Fall on you."

Meanwhile in an interdimensional space a figure who is only seen as a shadow,  Human shaped except for what could be made out as fox ears and a tail, the only thing about it that isn't "shadowy" would be a pair of bright Orange fox eyes glowing, this interdimensional space appeared to be nothing more than darkness and purple light appearing to flow in a wavelike pattern...
A voice is heard... almost echoing, "Hmm, what world should I visit now? Well I must do something... ahh, here!"
The figure opens it most slightly as a soft, but bright violet flame comes out and dances for about a minute, afterwards splitting into 10 flames dancing around in a circle while the kanji for "Heshioru" or "Break" appears in the center of it for a brief moment, afterwards it disappears and all the flames come together to form a circle of bright purple flame with the appearance of whatever was behind it shattering within the circle and total darkness now filling it...
The shadowy figure then walks through, putting one of it's hands up and halfway closing it's eyes to the "bright" sunlight, seeing this other being quietly finds a place to hide and observe in silence, eyes showing an instant of surprise upon noticing it to be a Kyuubi-Kitsune, perfectly hidden it continues to watch quietly but intensely...

 Just on the outskirts, a building built with a mixture of stone wood and something unknown, Sirus walked out stretching allowing his quills to extend. With a world domintated by Swords and other Such melee based weapons, there had to be one with the knowladge to teach those in the art of using such weapons, And Sirus Was that one person.
Closing the door to his rather small "home" part of the building he continued to stretch, many clicks comeing from the old hedgehogs frame.
once done he proceeded to the main front of the building, sliding 2 a large wooden doors either side, a Wide array of training equipment and weapons within.

Moving the equipment into their correct positions and checking over all the weapons he taught with he began prepping todays lesson, due to an "unknown cause" making people, specifically younglings to disappear, he thought it best to Teach defense and evasion.

On the wall at the back, 2 long Slender blade were mounted, unique, and near impossable to duplicate, these were Sirus' own Swords, the Scimitars. Many of his Students had been Awe Struck at the sheer size and yet light wight of the swords. But they all knew that they were purley there for show, and layed dormant...as far as they knew.

As he finished off his program he kept on with his checks as he awaitied the first few students of the day.

Samui opened his eyes. His surroundings were a blur to him. "Nnn..." He stood up, stretching. "Gah..." he winced lightly in pain. "Ahh..." Once his sight returned nearly to normal, he looked around. "Pyrova?..." He was alone. This can't be good. What became of her? Or everyone else for that matter? He looked at himself. Blood stained his light blue fur. And he didn't need to look to see the mark that was still on his neck. I should find the healing springs.

Samui started walking around, limping slightly. He looked around again. This place was unfamiliar to him. There were buildings and places he had never seen before. This isn't Kitsune Island...let alone Vultopia. Where did she send me? And what did she do with everyone else? He continued to explore the area, searching for someone who could answer his questions.

In the ally near Ashoova's place, a bright flash lit it up for about a second, and from said flash, appeared (moreso fell out) an orange kitsune with one 15' 7" long tail. he picked himself up and looked around, "Well, this isn't any place I know,"  he said to himself and proceeded to look around, once out of the alley, he knew he wasn't anywhere near his home plane. "Oh damn it. i hate it when those things backfire," he grumbled to himself, "Well, I better try and find a way home," he continued and looked at ashoova's shop, "and that looks like as good a place as any to start," and walked into her shop.

Ashoova looked up as the new comer entered her shop. "Well hello there is there any thing inparticular I can Help you find? Armor, A shield, Weaponry?" I sell all sorts and IF you place An order with you measurments I can make you a custom fit one of a kind piece of the FInenst melee equipment you will ever own. Oh but please do Mind the signs. because If you cannot lift and weild it to some extent I will not sell it to you at all." She moved the white hot metal bit back over to her anval And pounded it in to basic shape before placing it back in the inferno and waling around the counter to help her new customer.

However, SHe did find it strange that Sirus Had not come in yet for his Bi monthly Check up on the masterpieces he weilded. The swords she had made him were probably some if not the Finest pair of swords she had ever made. In fact, Such was their perfection she Regarded them as works of art more then simply tools of death.

Looking at the 15' plus tail she tapped her chin for a moment. "I'm sorry sir but could you posibly contain that Tail of yours I don't want you to nick it on something or ligt it on fire. Just a little hazard if you know what I mean."

"hmm, this could be interesting, there is no doubt that her skill in smithing could surpass even the best..."
*still in the shadowy form she quickly sneaks closer for a better look*
looking into her pack she peers upon a glowing red metal which from time to time will let off a golden light instead of red, though only for a second or so, while looking at it she says "I wonder if she could even work with such an element as this?"

Sirus checked the time realising he had done everything extrordinarily quickly, he gazed upon the Scimitars, unlike most weapons ashoova or any other Smith would of made, Sirus' swords were differant. Made from an alloy that at the time was new to Ashoover. Sirus also had a hand in the making of them, As these 2 swords were infused with Spritual esscence.
The twin swords were certainly unique.
He took them off the wall placing them in their sheaths attaching each to the side of his trousers.
He closed the doors for a moment and headed for Ashoovas shop.

"Hi, I'm fine in the weapons department," he said, making a small spark between his fingers, "But I would like to know, where am I? I've mis-fired on a teleportation spell, and frankly i could have ended up anywhere," he said, and wrapped his tail around himself several times, leaving only the normal length for most anyones tail free.

Samui continued to wander through the town. Such a quiet place...Where is everybody? This surely doesn't look like a ghost town. He eventually came across a weapons shop. Perhaps someone in there could help me? He walked inside and looked around.

In a small house within the settlment ((sowwy couldn't work out if it was a town, village etc)) activity began to arise as the day began to begin. Rocky dashed round the small house clumsily, still half asleep as she got ready. An older echidna sat at the kitchen table and watched the girl, slightly puzzled as she dashed around, "calm down Rochuex" [/span]Thunder chucked, shaking his head slightly, [span style=\'color:yellow\']"what's got into you this morning?"[/span]

Rocky skidded to a stop, catching her side on the doorway, "owie >< w-what? oh!! I don't wanna be late! I'm not getting shouted at again ><" she walked over to the table and began to scoff down a piece of fruit that her guardian had laid down her breakfast.

Thunder sighed, [span style=\'color:yellow\']"i thought I told you to tell Sirus it was my fault you were late" [/span]
"I *munch* did!"
[span style=\'color:yellow\']"Rochuex don't speak with your mouth full"

She looked at him, then swallowed what she was eating, "I'm gonna be late though... and I don't want to be ><"

Ashoova continues talking to the first customer with the extrodianrily long tail. "Ah yes the teleportation spells are tricky YOu are in my shop obvously in the relm of jade. Jade is a place where magic rules and all races live in somewhat harmony. Excuse me for a second." She moves back to the metal bar she had been working on and re heats it slightly. WHen it glowed a lovely red color she took her detailing hammer and pounded the bar in to the shape of a wickedly curved blade. She worked fast and her hands were a blur of motion as she set jewls and adorned the weapon. Finally wrapping the handle in sove supple leather she cooled it and layed it on the shelf for sale. "There we go."

She then noticed the new commer and smiled at him "What can I do for you today? Looking for a weapon? Pehaps some armor of an enchanted item? Mind the signs though. OH that reminds me..." She moved back to the new weapon and lifted the eyepatch covering her right eye. A burst of flame shot out and encircled the weapon. Lowering the patch again the flame whirled around the weapon and set into the grooves along the blade. "There a pirfect armor incinerator."

Sirus smirked as he stood by the door watching ashoover "That trick is always my faveriot" He walked in past the newcomers over to the counter "Did you get my shipment of new training blades yet?"

"Ah, thanks," he said, pulling a small orb from his robe. He tapped it twice, and a holographic projection came from it. A map of the astral realm and it's primes. "Hmm, damn, I don't see it on here. Must not be on the map yet," he said, tapping it again, turning off te projection and putting the orb away.

As he did this, he watched her little enchanting trick. "Hmm, I see you're a fire adept. I am a master pyromagus myself, and I've worked with smiths before. would you care for any help in the forge?"

Ashoova smiles as Sirus enters. "I am indeed I have them in the back. And I was wondering when you would come by. Let me just go grab the box. ONe second sir i'll be right with you." she said to the long tailed one.

SHe moved into the back and heaved up a massive crate and brought it back to the front of the store. "Here you go. All dulled yet still unbreakable. I even added some wodden ones this time for the beginers. Oh and do you want me to do that check up on your blades now? Remember check up and minor repairs are free." she said to Sirus smiling warmly.

Finally she turned back to the other person. "I could you an aprentice actually. I'll pay well but you'll have to do everything I say alright? But first, I'm Ashoova otherwise known as "The Smith" nice to meet you." SHe brushed some soot off her hand and extened it to him.

"Alright, I can do that. Name's Kyne," he said and shook her less sooty hand. "I'll gladly work for you, but I do need to work on finding a way home sometime. they won't worry to badly about me, this happens a lot. I'll let them know i'm safe soon."

Sirus looked in the crate, "ah these are perfect, as always Ash, And Sure you can take a look at my swords, you wont find anything wrong with them as always" he chuckled as he undid the scabbarbs from his trousers placing them onto the counter.

He then looked at Kyne having heard the conversation And chuckled "you will get a good work out working for Ashoover freind, shes no light wight" He also spotted the other newcomer "lots of out of towners today.."

Samui cleared his throat and spoke up, "Er, hello." He looked around at everyone else. "I was actually wondering if anyone could tell me where I am?"

Thunder laughed, shaking his head as he watched the young girl finsihed eating, "you'll only be late if you eat that fast and you end up makng yourself sick. Now come on, off with you upstairs to have a wash and then I need you to do me a errand before you leave"[/span]

Rocky stood up and nodded, "hehe ok Sir^^" she giggled nd ran of upstairs, doing as she was told. Thunder sighed, [span style=\'color:yellow\']"I just don't don't know where she gets the energy...." [/span]

When the young girl returned downstairs, Thunder handed her a piece of paper [span style=\'color:yellow\']"here, now I want you to go Ashoova's shop and pick up your Father's sword, I finally asked her to repair the handle on it-" before he was able to finish, Rocky had dashed of shouting 'Bye!' and ws already out of the door. He stood there for a minute andblinked before shaing his head.

*Stands up, still in shadow form, and gets out a book that was 'borrowed' from the grand library of the "Other world", and quietly looks through it for something before quickly shutting it and putting it away, afterwards reveiling her presence she walks into the shop and looks at Ashoova*

Sirus looked at Samui scratching his chin, unlike ashoover, he didnt wear a patch over his scared eye, and standing at 6"2 Sirus was a slightly daunting sight. "Well where you are standing right now is Ashoovers shop , which is in the city of <<please insert name of city here>>. And this city resides in the world of Jade." He scratched a quill then picked up his box "And..thats about it. Anyway i have a class to teach" He turned around "Thanks for these Ash, ill pick up my swords later" And with that he walked outheading back to his dojo

"Sirus is right of course we are in the relm of jade and in the outskirts of the city of Booktal. OH and SIrus I'll stop by the DOjo during my lunch break to return the Blades of Beauty (what she named the swords). Alright now since you work for my now Kyne I have your first job. First put these gloves on." SHe threw him some heavely enchanted thick leather gloves. "And go into the room in the back marked the forge of melting souls and pull out a soul that has found peace. You'll be abel to tell from the blue glow and the absence of screaming. I need you to bring that to me. Oh and don't forget to close and lock the door on both enterance and exit. Here's the key. if you lose the key while you're in there knock three times pause then knock twice more and I'll come let you out."

Deftly Ashoova fliped one of the swords out of its scabard and balanced it on one claw. She tapped the blade and it started to spin. As it picked up speed she listned to the cry the whind made as it was cleaved by the edge of the blade named Soothslayer. Smiling she replaced it in it's scabard and took out the second Blade of Beauty named the Bell of Bliss. The reason for this is because as she flicked it as soft ring rang out across the land that sounded like a nightingales song. Smiling contently she places it back in it's sheath as well before setting them on a palet of velvet under the counter for safty.

Noticing the other new comer she smiled at her. "Hello there and what is it I can do for you today? Looking for a weapon? Perhaps armor of enchanted trinket? or are we doing a custom job today? and actually that reminds me.... Give me just a second." She moved into the back and took out a stunningly lage sword that crackled and glowed a yellow color. "Here's his sword. I almost forgot that today is the day Thunder is comming to pick up his Chain Cleaver." She placed the sword an a hanging device over the counter and returned to the two customers infront of her. "Sorry a little busy with the custom orders. Now then how can I help you two."

Samui nodded. "I see," he responded. "Seems like a pleasant place. Though, do you know of any clinics around here? I was kind of involved in...an incident."

Sirus heard the sound his Scimitars gave out and smiled as he headed for his Dojo.
By this time many of his other students were waiting for his return on in perticular was a young brown and somewhat cocky Falcon by the name of Sai. Unlike the other students Sai wasnt interested in anything else except looking good with a sword. Which quite often led to him into trouble with Sirus.
Sai was abonoxious pushy and rude, and yet was acctully skilled with a blade.

He was standing shadow boxing around, impatiantly waiting for Sirus.

Rocky read the piece of paper which her guardian had given her. It wasn't much, just the receipt he had been given by Ashoova. She stopped as she soon reached the fork in the road and looked up, one path headed downwards and towards the forge, whereas the other carried straight on heading towards the dojo. Without having to think twice, she carried on heading towards the dojo, "i'll pick it up later^^ he won't mind" and with that she stuffed the paper into her pocket and broke out into a run.

"Alright, i'll be right back," kyne said, slipping on the gloves and heading back to the back room. "Forge of melting souls, no wonder her items are as potent as they are," he found the room and quickly unlocked the door and entered, locking the door behind him. He looked around at the racks of orbs. half of which were glowing either reds or greens, and giving off the most horrid noises. He saw a nearby Blue orb that wasn't screaming, and lifted it carefully, and thusly went back to the door. "Heh, now this is one reason I like my tail," he said and took the key in it and unlocked the door, prompt exiting, and shutting and locking it behind him. "I've found one, where would you like it?" he called back to ashoova, carefully carrying the calm soul.

Ashoova held out her hands. "Give it here i'll take care of it." ONce she was in posetion of the soul she drew a sickinigly curved and glowing blade and cleaved the ball in two. ONe half she placed atop the bellows and waited for it to melt. the other half she held out infront of her. Lifting the patch once again she stared straight at the soul half. SLowly it rippled and swirrled around in a spiral as it was absorbed into her eye. Once compleat she smiled and lowered the patch again. "Ahh that's better. My eye needs half a soul every couple of weeks other wise I lose contole of it." SHe smiled "Alright now we wait for the other half to melt and then I can begin making your personal hammer Kyne."

Kyne watched as this happened, not really affected by it seen as how he has crafted using souls himself. He watched as the soul orb melted down, anxious and curious as to how the hammer would feel in his hands.

(okies soo i'll join but i won't really be able to post untill the quarters  over so i'm gonna start my char a lil farther off from every one else.)

Miles from the town Rei sat upon a cliff over looking a humongous gorge  and at its end were a set of tori gates bound with gigantic chains. and plastered with incantation stickers. his four of nine tails trailed slowly in the wind as the caustic ray's of the sun beat down upon him. from the distance you wouldn't have noticed him there  except for the brilliant red glimmer of his arm band. he gave a thunderous laugh as a lone hawk dove at it's prey.

 Every one in the defense units knew that the hell gates detail was the way the commanding officers punished insubordinate soldiers, Rei was no exemption what so ever. in fact he managed to gain an almost permanent spot as the hell gate section team leader. Besides Rei was the only one who could summon the lance of the twisted spirit and what better place to have such a horrible weapon then one like this. especially since the seals on that thing have been slowly failing, it was a small insurance that they would have time to deploy whilst he was there should the numerous safety mechanisms fail.

Rei stood and pulled a small black quarter staff from his back and gazed at it intently. after a moment it began to pulsate and then it expanded into a large forked lance with a hideous point that was even painful to look at as well. as it settled into its new shape, he spun the lance and the in a long circular step hurled the lance towards the gate and jumped off the ledge following it shortly after. as the lance plummeted to the valley floor  the out line of a medium sized demon became visible. Rei knew his lance was on target , as the lance neared the demon heard it piercing through the air and raised a sort of barrier in hopes to protect it self, Rei saw all of this a grinned knowing full well what was about to happen.

as the lance bore down on the demon the barrier it produced caught it in mid air but for some reason even with all the energy the demon was pouring into it the lance began to inch in on it's target. finally Rei caught up and caught the lances shaft driving it further in, all the while the demon screamed bloody murder, blotted out of it existence shortly after it's creation. to any one watching they would have noticed that it wasn't Rei weight that assisted the lance all he did was break his fall, the lance as it had in the past for another had pierced even the very soul of what it had targeted.

This was the life of Rei Tsukikage, Sargent major,  and leader of the hell gates sentai. curiously enough, this kind of thing is what kept the other troops inline and out of trouble. because no one in their right mind wants to put up with a jerk like that.

She stood silently, but trying quickly to think of what to say to the one who may be able to forge the sword that would help her slay the demonic god who now ruled over a world of the dead. The metal from her pack was an arcane element from the outskirts of the otherworld, and was the probably the most important ingrediant in the swords creation. Aside from that what was in her pack was the book that told how to make it (as well as many other things), A glowing light blue crystal with a bit of a greenish color as well, a small decorative jar with a strange white powder in it, another jar with an orange powder, as well as a couple of small stones that had bands attached to them.

Now the book was written in some ancient language that only a few could understand, so the small fox wrote down a translation of what was said on that page, though saying that in order forge this sword in must be placed within a special light green flame that does not burn, but does create a chemical reaction of the two elements, the metal and the orange powder, but soon must be joined with the 'flame of the white powder', this flame was orange but not the bright yellow orange of a normal flame, it was a soft orange that was a bit more reddish, (which this one is hot, but also creates another special reaction, that completes the fusion) which then the elements must be kept in this flame while under the heat so the weapon can be properly be forged.

However there appeared to be a problem, there was no way to make this green flame that was spoken of, and the recipe did not say anything about the crystal, she then holds her pack up to Ashoova, as well as the translation she wrote down. "would you please make this for me?" she said politely, "It's a bit difficult and I might be missing something at the moment, but I can get it in time if you will wait for me and hold on to the rest of the materials for me. Oh, I almost forgot, if you do this for me then this is how you get 'the flame of the white powder', If you try to light it by any other way it will not ignite no matter what you try, this is the only known way." she then took out the two rocks and used the bands to slip them around her thumb and index finger, she then clicked them against each other a few times and created a green spark on the top, and an orange spark on the bottom.
"So... umm... will you?"

Ashoova smiled. "ah now this might actually be a chalenge. Trutgra Fimilte huh?" she said as she wrote the ancient text. "Well the creen flame I can make. That is easy enough. But how much of this metal do you wnat in the sword? I ask this because it's not very strong. I can use reclutive metal for the edge and casing of the blade. This will no disrpt any of the properties of the inner metal but will strengthen the blade. And since you have all the materials I'll do this for free. Kyne. i have another job for you. Find a burner with purple inscriptions on it and bring it here as sell as eight screaming black souls. We have a lot of work ahead of us."

"Yes Ma'am," he said and went to work looking for the burner. after loacting it, he set to the side and then went to the back room, looking for the eight black orbs. "Hmm, only way i can think of carrying all these is with a disc, so a disk it will be." he said to himself and made a few runes in the air. A asecond later, a lagre, yellow orange bowl-like appeared in fron of him. "there we go, and now for those souls," he started looking around, collected up the 8 black orbs, and headed back out. He picked the burner up on his way back towards the front, "Found them all Ma'am," he called out and tended to both the half soul on the forge and the 8 in the disc.

"Hmm... I doubt the flame you are thinking of is the same, It's a rare flame that exists in another deminsion, one that will take special care and preparation to summon to a place like this, as well as time, either that or I go to it directly myself to retrieve part of it, either way it doesn't matter, now if you already do have a piece of this fire that would be great, as it would save a great deal of time and effort! now, as for that crystal... I would like if you could somehow find a way to bind it's properties into the mixture, adding a final element to it. It is a stone, or 'Ice shard' from my sanctuary, that has special purifying properties." said the small fox. Also one might note that upon touching the crystal a cool or cold, yet soothing feeling is sensed from it.

"What kind of flame are we talking? I am a specialist of flame of all kinds," said Kyne, still caring for the half soul on the forge, manipulating the flames around it, making sure it melted evenly, and keeping the 8 black ones stayed seperated.

Rei's ears twitched as he heard a faint but clear ring cross his path, the climb back to the top of the valley woulds be a long one, and one only knows how many times he's made it, coincidentally he thought about the ring once over and was reminded about home, it was about time to have his arm band inspected, he'd do it him self but forging items really wasn't his specialty, his area of expertise fell under extra planar elementals of which the lance was created.

"yeah, i think its about time to head into town and pay miss Celest a visit, besides i think theres some business needing taking care of on top of all that. it's  been a while since i've heard from command and even longer since i've had a good conversation hahah yeah it'll be good to go home for a bit", thought Rei to himself .

with that he picked up his pace and began to jog up the winding path and eventually came to the desert cross roads, as he passed he waved down the current patrolman standing guard . he continued running until he arrived
at an outskirts settlement  one which brought mixed feelings. mostly  happy though although he was saddened to see the grave marker of a very old but good friend of his.

"3 days give or take, and i should be  home" Rei paused in front of an inn, and then entered. " why hallo thar Arctus long time no see, can ya  give meh a room for the night?"


after some brief catching up Rei, retreated to his room for the rest of the day to prepare for the hike across the mountains. although this time of year it should be relatively pleasant.

"We're talking about a fire that does not burn. THis is why I needed those souls and that burner.  No amount of pyrokenisis can creat this kind of flame. THis is a very special order that I will be taking care of myself. No offence but I don't want anything to be messed up. Keep tending to the half soul and call me when it melts. FOrging them is more then a little tricky.  Any way it's simple to add this crystal into the forging process. Since I have the materials that I need I can get started right away. However it may take a month r so for me to create the weapon that you have requested." Ashoova said to her unnamed customer. "I will need your name so I can write up the recite for you."

Sirus returned to his Dojo placing the crate down, his students all went into a line even Sai who carried on to shadowbox.
Taking his tench coat of placing it on a clothes peg he stood in front of his students bowing, they all bowed back respectivly.
Sirus counted his students realising one was missing, and he knew exactly who it was.
Sirus sighed "Wheres Rocky?" Another student raised its hand "Shes late again Sensai" Sai blurted out straight after [span style=\'color:orange\']"who cares if shes not here, lets just get on with the training"[span style=\'color:red\']He bounced as he spoke, Sirus glared at him "We will wait for her....although this is the 3rd time she's late..."[/span][/span]

The shadowy fox looked at Kyne saying "It is the flame of Kamihogosha of Ankokugai, the flame is kept deep within the underworld, it was moved there and guarded closely to keep it safe, It is quite a large flame but cannot be remade, It burns everlasting, however everytime a piece is taken from it, it is lost forever, that is why it is so closely guarded... but they cannot stop me."

She then turned to look at Ashoova, "My name? You may call me RaiKiri."

he continued tending to the half soul, "That flame? I've actually heard about it. A few have made a small portal connecting directly to the flame itself, not actually removing any of it, but that in of itself was a feat. I'd try, but I don't know the incantation, nor the casting runes for it, and well, portations spells aren't exactly my good suit," He said, and saw that the half soul had melted down, "the half soul is melted and ready Ma'am," he said to ashoova, and looked at his clothes, "But these are no smith's clothes, this can be fixed," and he quickly drew a small rune in the air, and a small amount of energy went over his clothes, reforming them into a smith's apron, gloves, and leggings, "Much better, gotta love morphing clothes," he finished, making sure the half soul didn't get too heated.

Rocky slowed downs the dojo came closer into sight,and with it the silohuettes of the many othe students waiting for class to begin. She grumbled to herself and cursed her guardian under her breath as she arrived, red cheeked from the running. "um..." she looked at the other students who seemed a little annoyed by her timing then walked up to Sirus and bowed in respect, "s-sorry... Sir..."

Ashoova smiled again at raikiri. "Come with me rai I  would like to show you something." Taking the blackened souls she placed them atop the burner Ashoova lit it. The souls formed into one large mass and then cracked at the top like an egg. From the crack sprouted the flame of Kamihogosha of Ankokugai "You see Rai there is a reason I keep such tomented souls as these with me. They tap directally into that flame. I hardly ever use it but here it is. And before you ask I colect these souls from the River styks that runs underneith the house. I can make this weapon for you."

Her attention suddenly snapped back to the bleeding patron. "oh i'm so sorry here come into my house my daughter will fix you up. I'm sorry to say but there is no clinic around here for a good 10 miles. Come come. Excuse me Rai i'll be right back."  She put and arm around the bleeding one and swooped him up like a little child. "Let get you some rest. Kyne pour the melted soul into the hammer mold any sixe yoyu like then cut your hand with the knife there and bleed over the molten weapon for one minuite I'll be right back"

Samui let Ashoova pick him up, wincing slightly in pain. "Ah," he said, "Thanks."

Kyne looked at how easily she had accomplished this, 'She must be an expert. Only way I can think of that working so easy.' he thought to himself, and thusly took the molten soul off the forge and poured it into a nice sized hammer mold, large but not unweildly. He found the knife and slit it across the hand he'd be using with said hammer, letting the blood run into the mold for a good minute or two before bandaging and sealing the wound with a rune. "That should do it," he said aloud, half to himself. He was both curious and anxious to see what his hammer would look and feel like in his hand as he watched the new smithing tool cool.

Rei sat at the edge of the out skirt town with a lazy smile as his face was bathed by the afternoon sun. As he sat there he felt a chill run under his skin and assumed some one was doing cross over work. at which point he grasped at a small breeze and pulled a small amount of sand and dust from it and fashioned it into the shape of a dragon fly, and chuckled a little

" there now, go let ashy know i'll be around soon for my regular visit, we wouldn't want to surprise her hahah!" with that he let the little dragon fly go its own way over the hills and valleys it flew back and forth looking for the world exactly like a live dragon fly. " i really need to get this thing checked." he rubbed the arm band which was glowing a deep crimson in the afternoon sun. " i wonder if i can get a transfer to the guard station near town?" he thought to him self.

after a while longer he rose to his feet and walked back the inn for lunch.

Sirus looked down at the young echidna crossing his arms "late again i see..this is your 3rd time Rocky..Whats the excuse this time?"
All the students seemed to take a few steps closer to to listen in to what would be said

The shadowy fox snapped her fingers together and in an instantanious flash of dark purple and black, another book appeared,  quickly grabbing it before it fell, she then looked at Kyne again "If you are curious about it, this book hold many answers, however many are dark and forbidden, but you may find a few things interesting, including that spell you were looking for to connect to the flame... it is in here,  it is complex, and takes a long time, you must sit outside of the circle for 48 days, you can take breaks, but never longer than a few mins, 20 mins would even be stretching it, you can sleep but you must do so in front of the circle, when a bit of the flame appears you must also have something to place it in, otherwise it will quickly vanish... forever!"
She then looked back at Ashoova before she left the room, "You can let me take care of Samui if you would like, I can heal his injuries quite quickly, just lay him on the ground before me and I will heal him."

Kyne took the book, and nodded, "thanks, I'll study this when i've got some free time," he said and put it in his bag, which didn't seem to alter any in shape due to the book. and continued to mind the cooling hammer.

She looked back at Kyne "Just one thing, I would be careful not to let many know you have that... things could get... dangerous"

Rocky looked down, her hands behind her back as she shuffled her feet uncomfortably. "n-no excuse sir..." she took the receipt from her pocket and showed it Sirus, "I-I had to go pick this up... b-but I didn't I came straight here, if I had picked my father's sword up first I would have been even later sir... I'm really sorry.."

"Not to worry, no one will find out about it, save for those in the room that already know," he said, and seeing that the mold had sufficiently cooled to keep it's shape true, he opened it up to reveal at least one side of his new, yet still unfinished, smithing hammer.

Ashoova didn't hear Rai as she left before she had spoken. Softly she layed Rai down on the couch and smiled at him motherly. "Shhh no get  some rest. I'll send in one of my daughters to tend your wounds as you sleep. for now though just drink this. she held a glass of steaming blue liquid infront of him. "This will help you sleep and take away the pain. Come on now drink up." She stroked his head softly as she cooed soft songs to him waiting for him to take the medicine.

a little dragon fly drifted in lazily from out side and passed by the corner   of Ashoova's eye, and then as fast as it had entered the place, it turned back into the small bit of dust it had been created from.

several towns away, Rei gathered some food stuff and a pack for easier travel, he walked to the window to gaze out over the land scape, while he was standing, staring he couldn't help but think that  more and more energy had been escaping from the hell gates as of late and, well whats more is the things it's been changing have been slightly larger in size each time, essentially it was  probably necessary to inform the council that the seals needed to be renewed and new chains need be forged.

shaking himself from his deep thought he continued to pack and prepare for the short trek across the mountains.

Sirus growled slightly before sighing. "alright just get in line with the others". He took a step back to face the rest of the students all of whome had snapped back into line. Sai was sniggering at Rocky for being in trouble before being twatted on the head by a Staff that Sirus used to keep people from slouching.
He Held the staff in front of him with both hands horizontally.
"now, todays lesson is slightly differant to that which your acustomed to", he paced back and forth in front of them resting the staff on his shoulder
"As some of you are probaby aware, many younger residents of the city have been going missing, usually without a trace. So ive been asked to teach the art of defense, outside of a normal combat matter. So no weapon, maybe in the dark, possbly against a stronger or more numerous foe" Sirus knew full well that the missing persons didnt go missing, but had been turned into some kind of abomination by some darker energys from outside of the city.
He gave the students their general warm up routine whilst he set up some equipment.

Like some cruel joke Sirus had paired Sai and Rocky together

Samui took a few sips of the medicine as he laid down. Although it was steaming, it was quite comfortable for him to drink. His pain was numbed, especially on his neck. He closed his eyes, listening to Ashoova's lullaby. Soon he fell into a deep sleep, smiling contently. It had been a long time since he slept comfortably.

Ashoova smiled and kissed Samui on the top of the head and looked at the little pile of dust. Her eyes grew vacant as she looked out the window. "My son is coming home. It's been so long. I wonder how he is... She blinked back to reality and reentered the forge. "He'll be fine. My daughter Fuka should be tending to him. Now then Kyne you did what I told you yes? Good. then lets finish this thing." SHe blew on the cooling soul and hardened it slightly. Using her hand she molded the head of the hammet in to the perfect shape. ONe end was large and flat for pounding out general shapes. THe other tapered to a smaller detailing side. She then spun the hammer inbetween Her two index fingures and made it cool slowly. Water did not work to cool souls hence why she did this. WHen finishesed she wrapped it in a special leather and held it out handle first to Kyne. "Now grip it like you would hold a hammer and it will mold as such. THen it wil be complete."

Kyne watched her as she did the finishing touches on the hammer, and removed the bandage on his hand when she offered the end. He gripped it firmly, molding the handle to it's final shape, and then released it. He looked at his hand, and seeing the wound was closed, he put the bandage into his bag. "Well, that wasn't too difficult, thank you for helping. I do know a few things about the forge, having a small jeweler's set at my lab. I've not personally forged anything much bigger, but i have enchanted things very large," He said.

"ah good an enchanter I'm not the best at that. But the thing That you'll be forging are probably unlike most weapons or other objects for that matter that you have seen. In fact I'd like you to go into the back and start memorizing the names and weights of the metals. I'll quiz you on them tomorrow." she said with a smirk. Now then Rai I can have your sword finished in about a month. Just one question. WHat style would you like? Shor sword, Broad sword, Katana, Rapier, Long sword, Gread sword, Claymore, What?"

Meanwhile Fuka shed her monsterous armor made entirely out of elementas skin and went over to Samui. Softly she cooed as she bandaged his wounds and softly stroked his fur. "Ther there it'll be alright I'm here Shhhh... Now time to sake up. Wake up and see the day."

Samui opened his eyes. "Hmm?" He was well rested, and very content. "Good morning," he said. "Um...Who are you?"

"Just make a curved blade for me, with the length somewhere between a short sword and normal length." she said, as she slowly sank into the ground which rippled slowly as she sank.

Ashoova shook her head. "I'll have to reenforce the ward around this place. I really hate it when people do that. Alright lets get to work." She said and started working the metal in to a few different shapes to figure out what the final product should look like.

Meanwile Fuke smiled as Samui came to. "Ah good you're finally awake. How are you feeling? I"m Fuka by the way. I'm Ashoova's daughter." Fuka (without her armor) Was skinny but very well toned. Even without flexing every muscle was starkly pronounced across her body. With her armor on she looked like a tank. It was made out of pure elemental skin and the glove of her full suit weighed roughly 40 tons. Everyept for Ashoova called her juggernaught.

Kyne nodded and went to the back room, studying the various metals and their properties, "Good thing i've done some smithing already, I know a lot fo these," he said looking over the one he wasn't familiar with.

As morning lay its warmth across the valley Rei took his first steps out of town and his first steps on his way back home.

" three days  till i reach home. it'll sure be nice not to have to wake up in the sweltering heat of the desert"

as Rei walked he reminisced of the days of long ago and continued  on his path. if at most at least the days before his entrance into the defense corps. as the morning progressed he made it to the foot of the mountain.

Ashoova smiled at kyne "Good Then bring me one cubic foot of Black metal alloy. I need the number 5 density Carefull though it's heavy."

"Yes ma'am," He said and went back to the back to find the metal. He skimmed the shelves and found it, he tried to lift it, but a thought struck him, "work smarter, not harder," he thought and conjured up another disc and slid a cubic foot onto it. the disc strained a bit but stayed afloat, and took the disc back out, resting it and the metal on a nearby table to the burner. "1 cubic foot of black alloy, ready to go," he said and disperesed the disc, the metal landing a tad heavy on the table.

Samui stretched. "I feel a little better," he responded. "At least, the pain is gone." He chuckled. "It's nice to meet you."

Rocky folded her arms and scowled at Sai, "you can hardly talk! You're always in trouble!! Atleast I wasn't the one twatted over the head!!" she stuck her tounge out at Sai back.

Ahsoova took the metal froom the table and started to spin it in her fingure. SHe carefuly listened to the sound it made as it whizzed through the air. At the right moment she punched the metal. The outer edges of the cube fell away and all that was left was a bar of the strongest part. "There we go." she said satisfyed. "We'll put this away again until I need it. I'll start on the the special order tomorrow. For now though I need to run by Sirus's place and return hes blades. You hold things down here. The prices for all murcandise is labled and there is a stack of regestration slips under the counter. Every thing that is bought here reqires one of those. Just so you know. I'll be back in roughly an hour." With that she slipped out side and started towards the Dojo.

Fuka smiled and offered him her hand "Nice to meet yo as well. Here i'll help you up.

Kyne nodded and put the metal aside. He then went to his hammer, which had more than cooled by now, and lifted it. it felt perfect in his hand, he turned it over a few times before strapping it to his side and going back to the counter, looking at the merchandise. "Actually right now would be a good time to do that," he said, and took out  piece of papaer and an ink quill. He quickly wrote a note on it, and put the note back in his bag, along with the quill. "There, now at least they'll know i'm safe and well here," he said, and started looking a bit more closely at the weapons in the shop, getting more aquainted with ashoova's techniques.

 Sirus fineshed setting up the equipment then turned to face the students hitting the bottom of the staff on the floor "Alright Students. Front and centre!"
The Rest of the students gathered in aline in front of him. Sai turned his tail feathers swinging into rocky as he walked into line.
"Right, today im teaching escape and defensive techniques, Once i feel you have got them, you will put them into practice on my dummies here with a sparring partner. Understand?"
There was amixture of yes' and bows. Sai tutted shrugging [span style=\'color:orange\']"Whatever Sensai"[/span]

Rei had forgotten how quickly he could cover vast expanses of ground partially because, unlike other in the the defense corps, his post wasn't monitored and they rarely got any one who either out ranked them and matched them ounce for ounce in strength. which meant that there was no one amongst them who cared for such trivialities as physical conditioning tests.

 as he quickly and nimbly scaled the side of the mountain he stopped to check the view , to the north the forests, the south, the badlands , to the east the great lake and swamps, and west, back home, which at this point in time looked for all the world like a little white splotch on the land. continuing on up  for a short time he reached the plateau and walked over to a bench set out for tired travelers.

he sat for a second and reached into his nap sack and pulled out a large water flask and a sandwich... peanut butter and jelly to be exact.
" man i am starved" Rei said aloud to him self before taking a huge first bite. after he steadily consumed the sandwich and another after it, he took a large drink of water and packed up, as he jogged down the mountain path he thought to himself, "i really need to start learning how to take these roads again " and with a small chuckle he disappeared into the distance.

Rocky stumbled back slightly as she was hit with Sai's tail feathers. She growled under her breath before following into line with the others. Her enthusiasm for training returning though once Sirus had told them the instructions for today. "yes Sensai^^"

Ashoova smiled as she walked into the Dojo carying the newly inspected blades. and her hammer strapped to her back. She waved to Sirus. "I'm here to drop off these works of art... Hope i'm not interupting anything." She says looking around. "Is  there anything I can do to Help out at all? I'll spar one of them if you want some sence beaten into any of them Heheh." she says nudging her old friend in the ribs.

Sirus took the nudge chuckling playfully taking his blades. Then he looked at his students "acctully there is something you can do for me, put them muscles of yours to good use" he smirked at her then walked inside putting the blade down then back over.
"help me with some demonstrations"

Ashoova laughed at this. "Allright but try not to cry this time." She said as she flexed her intense muscles Trippiling the with of her arms in size. Ahe took a fighting stance and waited. "You're move."

With the time Ashoova had spared her on retrieving the flame of Kamihogosha of Ankokugai, RaiKiri decided why not take a break in the mean time to play and have a little fun. So still in shadow form as to not be noticed she followed Ashoova to this dojo that everyone seems to talk about, once she got there she watched Ashoova walk in and then found a quick place to hide and exit out of of shadow form so as to not be recognized, once done she appeared as quite a young girl, with silver hair, orange eyes, fox ears, and a tail. She then continued to follow after ashoova.

Sirus smirked at her playfully "acctully, im giving you an excuse to hold me. See im teaching these guys what to do if someone where to try and abduct them. So i need you to come over and grab me from behind"

Samui stood up on his own. "So, where exactly am I?" he asked. "This place is new to me."

Ashoova a little disheartened sighed and moved around behind him. "Alright. I"m still not holding back. I think it's important for them to see how to escape a stronger foe." She wrapped her arms around Sirus's waste and squeezed.

Fuka laughed a little "Well you are exactally in a living room on a couch. THis is my or I should say Mom's house. Here drink this." She handed him another glass of liquid. It looked almost like sludge and smelled just about as bad. "It might not taste very good but it will help."

Rocky gave a shaky sigh as she saw what Ashoova did to Sirus. She then looked over at Sai and gave an uneasy look, he was much taller and alot stronger then she was. Even though what was being performed was only pretend she still didn't like the look of what was going to happen.

Sirus looked at the students "as you can see Ashoover has quite a tight grip around my waist." He moves his arms behind him placing a finger on either side of Ashoovers ribs "theres 2 places you can use to get out of this, here, Or.." he lifted one hand placing it just under Ash' nose" These 2 places are major pressure points if i were to say push up on her nose" Using the side of his hand he pushes up firm but not hard on the underneath of ashoovers nose[/span]

[span style=\'color:orange\']Sai was watching although his wings were crossed and he gave an uninterested yawn scratching his nose. He noticed Rocky then smirked

Kyne continued watching over the store in his smith's outfit, helping out customers as they came, and examining the merchandise when they were none. he made mental notes about where things were in the shop and forge so he would be able to help more when needed. "Heh, good thing i'm basically fire proof, fur and all," he said to himself, looking at the forge and the smithing tools.

Samui looked at the glass of liquid Fuka handed him. Geez, this is like daring me to drink the pond water at Goodwin Park. He closed his eyes, and started to drink out of the glass, with an obvious look of disgust on his face. Ech...This tastes like death! When he finished, he looked to Fuka, and asked her, "Two questions. One, what is this stuff supposed to do, and two, can I have some water?"

Rocky saw Sai's smirk and gave a worried look, then looked back focusing her attention back to the demonstration and what was being said.

Rei sat on a ledge over a cliff that was at least 4500 feet above his home town, he closed one eye and took in the old energy patterns and noticed a few newer ones including a green flame which was rare in some cases on this side of the continent, unless Ashy had a custom order in the works. which made sense since it looked like some one had been walking the shadow lands,

"i wonder," said Rei, as he rubbed his chin" i wonder, if perhaps me arriving here wasn't on my own personal accord." he stood from his perch and streched," yaaaawn, seems like it's time for me to drop in i need to catch some Z's any how, also I'll have to make note that when i get there i poke about the universities magical library something, is different, and the hell gates are worrying me."

As Rei walked back to the main route he passed a small travelers shrine , gave a few claps and left an offering, after which he continued on down the road. " I'm sure every one will be happy to see me, and I'm sure every one is doing well." his one red eye gleamed in the sunlight "definitely though i need the arm band looked at" Rei once again disappeared into the distance.

Ashoova was forced to let go of him and smiled. "You've gotten better Sirus." She glanced around and saw the uninterested yawn move across Sai's face. She glared at him and walked up to face him. "Sirus... this student looks totally uninterested... Do you mind if I get his attention?" With out waiting for an answer her fist shot out and buried itself deep in to Sai's stomache. Smiling she tirned to Rocky. "I'll take over your partner for you if you don't mind. Oh and don't forget to stop by my shop I have your father's sword ready." Grabbing Sai by one of the wings she dragged him to one side. "This will only take a minuite Sirus this one needs to be taught some respect. Don't worrie I won't kill him."

Fuka chuckled and turned his head so he could look at his cut. The gash was compleatly healed with no scaring to boot. "That is what it does and of course you can have some watter I'll go fetch it."

Rocky giggled slightly as she watched Ashoova punch Sai, then bowed her head as Ashoova addressed her, "y-yes Miss^^ Of course of Miss Ashy^^" she looked up and smiled back at her "and I'll promise I'll come by the shop once practice is over, Miss^^"

Sirus before he could even answer watched as Ashoover dragged the winded Sai away Then crossed his arms "hmph the cheek.."you got better" He addressed the rest of the students "alright i wan tyou all to pair up and practice what i showed you"

[span style=\'color:orange\']Sai took the hit unexpectantly being winded almost immidiatly, he pulled at his wing as he was dragged away barly able to even tug at her hand[/span]

RaiKiri watched as all this happened tilting her head slightly, though she did not agree with the method carried out (Despite Sai's attitude), she simply watched and did nothing more, he probably deserved it she guessed, though she still could not help but feel sorry for him. She then jumped down from where she currently was making her prescence known, and with a cute and innocent look look about her face  she gave a quick sort of smile and simply said "Hi...".

Ashoova picked up a practice sword and flung another one at him. Her's was a rapier style. She took a stance and looked at Sai "You think that you are good enough to not pay attention? Well prove it to me." She then noticed the little girl. "I haven't seen you before. How old are you."

Sirus looked over at the girl scratching a quills, he thought to himself (shes not one of my students...) He left Ashoover to deal with it as he went back to overseeing the students.

[span style=\'color:orange\']Sai's sword was that of a doubled handed, but he wielded it with one. He lifted it up resting it on his shoulder "hmph, i know im gd enough to take out interfearing people like you" He beckoned her to attack him[/span]

On all 4 she jumped over to to Ashoova and gave another quick smile, then she stood up. then with a somewhat timid tone she replied "I'm 8... who... who are you? and what is this place?".

Rocky turned round to see Ashoova and Sai beginning to fight, she then looked at Sirus and tilted her head somewhat confused, "so what am I to do now, Sir?"

;stared at the 8 year old "Well this is a Dojo and we are about to fight so you may wany to move aside hunney." SHe used her food to push the little girl out of the way before charging towards Sai. Her free hand flashed out and gripped Sai's sword and bent it in to a U shape as the tip (blunted as it was) came to rest on his throat. "That is what happenes when you get cocky." she whispered in his ear befor releasing him. She sheathed her sword and went back over to the little girl. Smiling she picked up the girl and balanced her on her hip. Now what might your name be?" She asked her reverting back to her maternal nature. "Oh and Sai dear go back and practice with Rocky. But if i find you being disobediant again I won't hold back the next time."

"Huh?", she responded as she was picked up, then hearing the question she smiled again and answered, "My name is Aori, or Chiisai Aori... but everyone calls me Sai'ori. And I might have lied a bit... but I'm close."

Sai choked slightly as the tip as by his throat he growled hobbling back over to where rocky was struggling to breath properly, he thought to himself as he looked back over (you'll pay for that..)

[span style=\'color:red\']Sirus walked over to rocky "what i want you to do is take it in turns at doing what i just showed you, so one will grab the other, to allow them to try the counter. Then you swap over okay?"
Sai bowed best he could, as he stood up straight Sirus unwrapped the sword from his neck. He shook his head throwing the sword to oneside[/span]

Rocky looked over at Sai and folded her arms smirking, "heh served you right for being over confident... again!" she whispered to Sai so Sirus wudn't hear her.

Smiled at the little girl. "Well sai'oru Would you like to come home with me? Or do you have a place to stay? Come to think of it my son should be getting back soon. And I need to go check that metal and make sure Kyne isn't killing it..." she said lost in thought for a moment. "come on now you come with ME and we'll wait for you mom or dad ok?" she said to the little girl letting her down and taking her by the hand. "Sirus I need to go but i'll be back tomorrow to spar alright?" she called to him.

Sirus nodded to her "thats fine long as your here early, dont want you missing it like last time" He grinned going back tot he class

[span style=\'color:orange\']Sai looked at rocky growling slightly "shut up.." He grabbed her from behind so she could practice[/span]

"I guess I could come with... but, well..." she began to say as a sad look began to cover her face, "Mother and Father aren't here...". She then looked down at the ground with nothing else to say.

She jumped as Sai grabbed her, and began to squirm completely forgetting wat she was suposed to do. Remembering what Sirus had just demonstrated she put her hands behind to her and tried to jab Sai in the ribs.

Sai just burst out giggling as she jabbed him going to the floor in fits of laughter. he rolled around a while nearly forgetting to breath.

Rocky turned as she was let go, looking down at the laughing falcon. "um...?" she tilted her head slightly. "whats so funny?"

As was common occurrence when ever Rei Reached the outer gates  of the town, he stopped, dropped to a knee and put  down a series of symbols in the dirt he then  sprinkled a small bit of water over it, a few seconds passed before any thing happened, all of a sudden two lines shot out in opposite directions to either side of the gates, which in turn activated the towns magic defense mechanism, as Rei knelt at the symbol he frowned a bit as various bit of information appeared to him then a smile crept across his face, finally he stopped what he was doing and wiped away the array he had created all the while a few travelers stood staring in awe as stood up and continued in to town. as he passed through the gates the crimson arm band fell from it's place to reveal a grotesque series of scars.

Rei cringed as he felt the band fall away, " that thing is getting ugly" he thought to him self, Rei made his way across town taking in all the familiar sights and smells which for the most part brought him good memories of the past. comparatively any memory her was better then most of the memories of his time in the defense corps. " hmm wonder if Ashy's gonna be home or maybe she's running around at the silly old dojo, meh who knows, i just wanna take a nap"

Rei walked a bit longer till he came to Ashy's house, he took a second then walked through the door he sniffed around a bit and then made he his way to the couch waved a fuka and moved the little fox quickly and gently to the arm of the couch laid down and passed out any one who tried to get a response would get nothing more then snores and the occasional tongue in the air.

Ashoova continued walking and looked down at the little girl "Oh where are your mommy and daddy then?" she asked still supporting the child on her hip. They were about halfway to her house now. and she smiled as her keen nose picked up Rei's sent. Aww he's finally home and made good time too. it's been way too long since he last visited

Sai quickly got to his feet coughing a few times to stop laughing then stood up straight so as not to look stupid "n-nothings funny..nothing at all" *sweat drop*[/span]

[span style=\'color:red\']Sirus could sense Rei coming, the time by the gates had given him a taint. This came as a small omen to Sirus, if anyone could explain about the happenings in the city, it would be Rei

She raised an eyebrow, looking at him, "um sure..." she replied uncertain, unsure as to whether he had just been laughing at her

Samui noticed the scar on his neck healing. What the...Nobody's ever been able to heal that! He looked to Fuka. "Wow," he said. "You're the first person I've met that could heal this scar. As far as I knew, only the one who gave it to me would be able to do it....or at least, those who have dealt with these kinds of wounds." He chuckled. "Now I don't have to worry about her trying to control me with that thing."

She struggled for a second and jumped out of Ashoova's hold and ran to the nearest object she could find large enough to hide behind and curled up as she closed her eyes while resting her head on her knees.

looked at the small girl in suprise and walked over to her. She crouched down and stroked the girls head. "Oh sweety what's the matter?" She asked softly. By instict her nine tails wraped them selves around the little girls body as she tryed to sooth her. "Come on now you can tell you auntie Ash any thing. it's ok. I promise"

Fuka miled as Rei enterd the couse and promtly took over the couch. "Rei what are you doing here?" she said coyly at first then changed her mind and clapped him on the arm "Good to see you again Bro." She for got her own strength for a moment as the clap on the back would feel as if a metor had just crashed into reis sholder at a very high velocity.

At first she stayed curled up not responding, but after a few seconds she looked away and softly said "They just aren't here, they're somewhere else, ok? Somewhere in another world..."

Gathered the little girl up in a warm hug comforting her "It's ok sweetie I understand. How about you come home with me. I'll take care of you alright?"
She smiled gently at her and picked her up cradling the girl in her arms.

Kyne went back over to the main counter, having studied everything within the forge and shop. He didn't go to the house portion becuase he felt that that would be intruding. He sighed and looked around, and saw the scraps of the dark metal on the table in the forge area. "Might as well keep busy and remake an ingot from that for her," he said to himself and picked up the scraps. He found the ingot mold and set it on the table, and help the dark metal above it, and started to concentrate. A few seconds passed, and the metal started to heat up and started to liquify, dripping into the mold. once the entire remaining block was thusly melted and in the mold, he set it aside to cool. Satisfied with remaking it, he went bak to the counter to wait for a customer or ashoova to arrive.

Rei felt Fuka clap his arm but was already in the deepest of sleeps possible, he unconsiously shooed at his assailant and mumbled "Fuka quits it before i put you in the tree". he then proceeded to roll over and continued the snore fest. other incoherent mumblings included "silly little sister" and some thing about grape jelly.

Sai looked at her gaining is posture again "a-alright your trn to grab me" This on its own was no easy feet as Sai was a few feet taller then rocky.

[span style=\'color:red\']Sirus walked up and down the line of class mates watching them, but his mind seemed occupied elsewhere, he didnt even seem to noticed when Sai had his outbreak of laughter. Something was definatly plaguing his mind[/span]

"uh, yeah, um sure..." She looked up at him momentarily, as if trying to work out the best way to grab him. Suddenly she dashed forward, trying to take him by suprise. Stretching up on her tiptoes she grasped her arms around the birds stomach.

Sai quickly looked down, with a quick movment and precise timing he  jabbed her in the sides digging his finger sjust inbetween her rips quickly to make her let go

In response to him jabbing his fingers into her ribs, she let go quickly. Falling over as she lost her balance on her tiptoes. ">.<"

"Huh?" her eyes widened in surprise for a moment, she then looked back up staring at Ashoova appearing somewhat confused, "What?".

Ashoova smiled at her kindly as she walked home. "I know how hard it is to be and orphan. I'm one myself. But don't worrie I'm here to take care of you now. And if you want you can even call me mom. Hehe" she giggled a little bit and kissed the girl on top of the head.

"Huh? I'm not an orphan!" she said, "They call me a survivor...".
She then looked at Ashoova and smiled, "But that's ok."

Sai quickly grabbed Rocky so as not to let her hit the floor. Pulling her back up so she stood up straight he smirked "heh got you"

[span style=\'color:red\']Sirus at thi spoint had gathered his class. For some reason he was closing it early. The pupils all started talking as to why. It was unlike Sirus to shut up the Dojo early. He even got them to carry on through an earthquake once. But they all began to gather their things and head off

She looked up at Sai as he pulled her up, "um thanks..." she looked around, seeing Sirus ad gathered the class and was closing the dojo, "uh, what do you thinks goin on?" she asked Sai.

Ashoova Smiled at the little girl. "OH it matters not what they call you YOu are still going to stay with me. Come on now lets get home. I even have a spare bedroom that you can use." Shw said as she walked through the front door. She spotted Rei and a large grin came across her face. "Wel I guess we DON"T have a spare room any more. REI! welcome home honney." SHe placed the child down and went up to hug her son. "How is the black gates faring? And you look like you've grown a little bit. Met any nice girls yet hmm? I'm still looking for some grand kids you know. And that goes for you too Fuka." She said to the both of them.

Fuka slapped her self on the for head and looked at her mother. "Moooom please i'm only 25 I still have time." SHe then glanced at the little girl. "Uh mom? who's this?" SHe akded with a confused "Oh and so far Rei hasn't even woken up. I don't know what to do mom."

Kyne heard the commotion in the other part of the building and took it that ashoova was finally home. He sighed and thought to himself, 'Hmm, maybe she'll let me do some forging with the parts of the dark metal she didn't use. I'll ask once she comes back here.' he continued to stand at the counter, looking only a little lost in his own thoughts of what he may make if she let him.

Sai shrugged "who knows. maybe the old mans going for his nap" Sai smirked cheekily

[span style=\'color:red\']The students began to disperse as Sirus started to put the equipment back into the dojo. He placed his trench coat on leaving for the main part of the city[/span]

Rocky thumped his wing, "thats not nice!" she scolded

The girl stood there with a confused look for a second and then hopped over to where they were while on all fours, then stood up normally while looking at him, "You want him awake? I can wake him up... if you want me too...", she continued to look at him for a second and then said "that or we could let him sleep if you want, it's all up to you..." she said as she yawned herself.

Rei had been asleep the whole with daily events and other things running through his mind, until some thing pulled at him from deep inside a presence from some where he wasn't sure should have been there what ever it was, it had his attention and he homed in on it like a bat out of hell.

All of a sudden a single red eye flashed open and in a blur of sun fire, Rei stood holding the girl securely above him, he glared at her intensely for a moment then sniffed her...
"You're not from this world.".. he then looked around and saw every one standing about,..." uhm sorry" he put the girl back down and patted her head..

 "awkward" he quickly sat back down on the sofa and pretended as if nothing had ever happened. " sooooo nice to see every one again, and i seems like we have visitors, soo where are ya from?"

"hmm... seems I dun have ta wake ya, your woke up own your own!" she said,  a little surprised at what just happened. "And no your right... I came from somewhere else, far away..." she said as she ran to hide behind the nearest person she could.

Ashoova smiles adn scratches the little girls head fur. "Hehe it's ok little one. COme now Rei that's no way to greet your mother. Come give mom a hug why don't you."

Sai rubbed his wing "oW!...whatever im getting a pizza" He quickly hurried off.

[span style=\'color:red\']Sirus walked into the main streets headed for ashoovers shop, all the populous were just getting on with what they do, some headed home from work, others shopping, some already working.
The news stands that sold papers had large spreads about the recent disappearences, blmaing some kind of cult kidnapper. Sirus slightly knew that somthing darker was responsable, and it was being covered up. [/span]

"Fatty!" she yelled after Sai with a gigle then turned and headed in the other direction. She felt for the receipt in her pocket then look ed at it as she headed for Ashoova's shop to pick up the sword, "wonder if he closed early because he was mad at me for being late..." she pondered to herself.

Looking at Rei she thought to herself, 'That was a bit unexpected, I had best be careful or Organization X may be after him as well, they've been after strong people lately...' afterwards she yawned again, her eyes now half closed as she could barely keep them open anymore.

( ack! i missed a lot. xD )

Samui looked over to Rei. "Er....Hi." The sudden commotion confused him slightly. He looked around at everyone in the room. "So...um, what's going on?"

Rei waved at the fox he had moved then walked up to ashy with a sneer on his face he glanced her once over then did some thing unexpected, he picked her up off her feet,  "mam ! looong time no seee* and gave her a big hug with a big goofy smile on her face. then he put her down and recomposed himself.

"now on serious note" he looked around " I think we both know why I'm here, and its not for the delicious soup I grew up on."

He took out the arm band and placed it in Ashoova's hands, " there's some thing happening some thing i can't make heads or tails of " he paced from one end of the room to the other " I have an idea but I'm not sure so I'm going to be going to the "library" to see if there's a connection to every thing. also" he looked back at the girl for a second, then faced his mother again. " Also, when I got into town I checked the dimensional phase barrier, and it seems like it's grown weak over the last few years." he looked over at the fox he had repositioned for his nap. "and I have a hunch that some thing big is about to happen, but first things first... any thing weird going on around here lately ? " his red glowed in the dim lighting of the house.

Ashoova took the band in her hands and let out a hiss of disapointment. "What on earth did you do to this thing... And yes infact. That little fox that you moved there I have no idea where he is from, Same with the visitor who commisioned a blade to be done with the flame that does not burn. As well as the other transdementional person that is currently working in the forge as my assistant. Speaking of which... KYNE COME ON IN HERE!" she called to the forge door. "I'll take a look at the band for you. besides i'm expecting a few people over later. maybe we can clear things up then. You catch up with your sister. And your new sister here." she smiled and patted the little girls head. "I'll be in the forge if you need me." She walked to the forge the bracelet still in her hands Indeed something big was about to change the lives of a lot of people. "Kyne go take a break the family is in the other room if you want to socialize I'll finish up here besides I have a lot of work to do and it you know trade secret thing sorry...''

She dropped to the ground unable to stand any longer, she sat trying hard to keep her eyes open just before falling back she asked "how long have I been awa...?" with a big smile on her face as she was passing out, seeming to forget everything around her that has happened she appeared happy for those last 3 seconds she was awake.

Sirus pushed the door of the shop open  walking in his coat billowing out behind him. He walked over to the counter "ashoova!" he didnt yell it as such but wanted to make it known he was there and needed to talk. he waiting for her to appear.

Samui nodded. "Why I'm here? I'm not quite sure," he said. "I woke up in this world. The last I remember before that, was getting hit really hard...by...something..." He stood up. "Anyways, my name is Samui. Nice to meet you all."

Kyne heard her and walked on into the room after she had passed by, "No problem Ma'am, I've got a few of those myself," he said and stood beside her a moment, "um, small question, Ma'am. Would you mind me working with the remainder of the metal you set aside for the recently commisioned weapon?" he asked and shifted his clothes again back to his robes and unwrapped his tail around his feet. "Ahh, that's a bit better. Nice to meet you all. I'm Kyne as you heard. Good to meet my employer's family," he said to them happily.

Rocky peeked around the door into Ashoova's shop, and gulped seeing Sirus. She closed the door again standing outside wondering whether to go in or nt and if the hedgehog was still mad with her. She looked through the window and tilted her head, and thought it best not to ask questions. She sighed, deciding she would wait outside until more conveniant.

Shook her head at Kyne "Not at all have fun with it. Hey Sirus what's up? " She asked him as she placed the band to the side. She spyed Rocky and smiled "Give me a moment Rocky I need to talk to Siurs for a bit it won't take long you can wait in the family Room if you like."

Sirus kept his tone incredably serious looking Ashoova Dead in the eye with his own. "wheres your Son? I have something i MUST Speak with him about" he lent on the counter mid way through Speaking, Sirus probably being one of the only people who DIDNT look small compared to Ash.

Rocky eeped as Ashoova spotted her through he window and turned away quickly, watching the people pass instead.

"Thank you ma'am, I think I know what I'll do with it," he said as he waited with the others in the family room. "A set of bands of force should be a lot stronger with that material with a few slight modifications on the imbuement runes, nothing I can't do," he said half to himself and half to the rest of the room.

Nodded Seroiusly to Sirus and pointed towards the door to the rest of the house. "He's in there but Talk to him after dinner would you? HE has been traveling for quite a while." She turned to Kyne. "DO what you wish to it i'd love to see how it turns out. Ok Rocky come on in." she gestured to Rocky and took Thunders sword out from under the counter.

((its not Thunder's sword, he's not her Father))

Rocky entered into the shop timidly as ashoova called her in. She wrapped her fox tails around her body to keep them from being hurt on any of the sharp items that Ashoova sold. She walked up to the counter, seeing her Father's sword and smiled, "t-thank you Miss^^"

Kyne nodded and looked at the bar of the material he re-shaped earlier, "I think you'll really like what i've got in store for that bar, Ma'am. Like I said, I know what i'm doing in a forge," he walked over to it and lifted it, turning it over in his hands and examining the solidness overall of the bar.

He thusly went to the bellows with it and placed it in the fires, changing his clothes to a smith's outfit, and reaching in with his bare hands and retrieving it even while it was still hot. He held it as if it wasn't even warmed, and placed it back in, watching it heat, and manipulating the flames, making them hotter and more evenly heating the bar.

Ashoova smiled at the little girl. '' No problem i'm happy to help when ever I can. ANs when are you and thunder going to come down for dinner eh? I"ve been bugging him about that for months now. hehe no matter give him my regaurds will you and watch yourself on yoru way home."

SHe then moved to work on the arm band. Carefully she inspected it and turned it in her hand. "My goddess what did he do to this..." SHe said to her self softly." SHe flicked her fingures at the wall in the back of the forge and hwe hammer flew to her just barely missing Kyne's muzzle. "Sorry about that not used to other people in the forge!" she yelled back at him. Refocusing her attention back to the task at hand she began to pound away at the bracelet but id din't contort or dent. Truthfuly she was pounding out the curse that was embedded deep into the metal and revitalizing it's magical prospects.

Rei slunk around the front room inspecting two of the new comers and scribbling down little notes here and there in a small book. the pounding sound coming from the Forge caught his ears, he walked over and called through the door.

"Hey.... Mom.... uhm about that curse.. it's not exactly well.. it's.. well it's not really a curse.

He peeked into the forge.

" it started reacting about a half year ago, but I was to busy to bring it in for you to check it out." he scratched his chin.
"I think it was was slightly after the activity behind the gates flared up. then well my arm started scarring like this every time i fought a demon.. also the lance has been acting a bit weird from time to time."

As he was peeking in he, spotted Sirus smack dab in front of the counter. and noticed the serious look on his face. making a mental note he turned back to the room he was in and found a seat.

"yes Miss^^ of course Miss^^" Rocky giggled as she recieved the sword, holding it tightly she dashed out of the shop, heading towards home. As she walked around, she noticed the time and knew Thunder still wouldn't be expecting her home for a bit yet. "hmmm... I wonder if Sai's still about" she pondered, "that'll give me something to do"

Thunder tutted to himself as he sat behind the counter of a small conveniance store he ran. He shook his head, scratching his beard as he read the latest story about another child going missing. He sighed as he finished the article, "i just hope Roxhuex has her sense about her..."

Sirus growled as Ash told him to wait "This isnt some meager problem Ash.."
He paced around the shop, taking a look at the fist weapons cracking his knuckles as he did. He turned around just as Rei poked his head out looking directly at him. He watched Rocky run by him out watching her dissappear around the corner, he Sighed. Then looked back up at Ash to see what she was doing


[span style=\'color:orange\']Sai was lounging about in one of the many square's laying on abench, one wing behind his head one leg bent the other layed straight. His eyes were closed and had taken his top off to soak up the Sun in his feathers. A few giddy school girls in agroup chatted and giggled amongst themselfs all blushing

Ash smiled at Rei "Oh well sorry honney I just got rid of it. THe thing is fixed though so here you go. Bring you lance in some time and i'll look at it ok?" She then moved to sirus and pulled him into a hug. "Shhh i'm sorry. i'm sorry come on let's go have a talk with Rei. Ok? REI! MEET ME IN THE STUDY WILL YOU?!" she called to him as she stroked sirus's quills a little bit. "You know not a day goes by when I don't regret us getting a divorce."

It didn't take Rocky long to find the sunbathing bird. All she had to do was to listen to the giddy girls of his own group of 'fan girls' and they pretty much did the work for her, she soon arrived to the square he was in in no time. Walking silently up behind the bench, she smiled to herself shading Sai with her foxtails, "having fun posing for the girls?" she giggled

Sirus went to say something before being pulled into Ashoovas arms. Confused for a moment before putting his arms around her "i-its fine im sure your just glad hes home" He had a slight blush being in Ash's arms again, Then when she started to stroke his quills he almost became like putty, closing his eyes his blush now as red as he was.
Sirus stuttered slightly when she mentioned the divorce "no..me either..but..it was your idea" he seemed to grip tighter slightly almost as if he were losing her.


[span style=\'color:orange\']Sai didnt open his eyesbut smirked "well if it isnt lil rocky, heh yeah of course, they all want me, but i tease em cause i aint interested" he then looked over at the giggling girls and winked then back up at Rocky. The girls however had changed to mocking what Rocky was wearing jelous that she was able to just walk up to the bird. saying things like how she looked like she belonged in an old history book.[/span]

Rocky looked up at the girls and growled under her breath, seeing the girls as they began to mock her. She then looked back down at Sai. "hmph. well aren't you the catch... since when did you become such an idiot out of class aswell? you never used to be like this."

Sai looked at her "hey i dont  hang out with those girls..." he looked at her and smirked "wanna make em jelous and get some revenge?"

She raised an eyebrow and looked at him slightly confused, "what do you mean?"

he smirked at the girls then looked up at Rocky a sly grin "you should kiss me, that would shut them up reaaaal good" he lent back putting both his wings behind his head "what ya think?"

She looked at him horrified, "What?! Sai, I'm your friend, but I'm not giving you a kiss." she looked over at the girls, seeing they were still mocking her then looked down timidly and shufled her feet as she spoke quietly, "s-sides... I've n-never kissed anyone... before..."

he sat up smiling "heh its no biggy ive kissed plenty of girl, just make sure you pucker up" The girls giggled more at the jokes they had said seemed to be amusing them even more, Sai looked at them some venom in his glare, although they took no notice

"I-uh, well um ok..." she came round from behind the back on the bench and sat next to Sai, she took a quickglance at the girls then looked at Sai, "you sure about this?"

Though it was only a short time it was many hours for her, the girl woke up still a little out of it, rubbing one of her eyes she sat up wondering what was going on. She then looked down, "Why was I sleeping on a floor?" she quietly asked herself, though it only took her a few more seconds to realize what was around her and remember everything after looking around at the room. "Where am I again?" she said as she remembered.

Ashoova smiled and stroke his quills a bit more. "You know it's not to late to get back togeather... I'm sorry I was such a bitch back then but I was young and foolish. But now i'm much older and my felings for you never truly went away. SO what do you say Sirus?"

Sirus embraced his quills being stroked Then he moved to he could look into her eye with his own. "you...you would be willing to try it?..after what happend....im..im unsure..what to say" He kept his arms around her gazing into her eye, dispite the way he is, joy was pretty much slapped over his face

Rei walked into the study  and stopped dead in his tracks.. took in the sight of Ash and sirus holding each other.. and then smacked his fore head.

He stood there and a big grin crossed his face he couldn't resist chuckling a bit"... whe... when did you two.........when were you too married?...  how many years have i been gone?" he walked up to the two and inspected them closely...." Wow Sirus, you've grown old, Ashy.... when did you two? " Rei stood there and tapped his chin.

" oh yeah, by the way it's not that i wanted to keep what ever had worked its way into the band, i was wondering if you knew what it was because it sorta... acts.. alive?" Closing the door behind them Rei's facial expression went from a smile to stark  serious. " I think we all know why we're here."

He glanced at the other two  "And I think we both know" he focused in on Sirus
" know why you came to the house today, but before we go any farther let me just say this" Rei sat down on a sofa in the study " my birth mother, before they exiled her, was working on a permanent seal for the hell gates"

Rei pointed at the arm band "some time a year ago, a very strong surge of demonic energy temporarily broke the seals of the hell gates and that's about the same time my arm band started to degrade on it self and every time after wards the band would start ..eating? my aura. after a sort while it even began affecting me physically" he pulled a rag he had wrapped around his arm off slowly to reveal several deep blackened scars.

" some thing that didn't  make it into the report on that day, was that seargent first class Aoshi, became ... ... a demon" Rei looked back to sirus

" and whats more, when I arrived back into town the dimensional shield relays had been deactivated about four time within the last 6 months" he scratched at his chin again.

"only four people possess the ability to activate and deactivate them, and one of them, my birth mother, well last i spoke to her, she said some thing about traveling to the silent continent to learn of more in depth sealing spells, so to speak, she can't be one of the problems"

After that, Rei sat back and waited for a reply

Sirus gripped Ash tighter somewhat annoyed that Rei had barged in on their "moment" But looked at the boy he had come to see "the..the marriage was a while back..it..nevermind" He kept close to Ash listning to what Rei said.
"so..witht he surges of energy from the gates..and the lack of the relays..that could cause weaker people to be changing into Demons?"

"Quite to the contrary the surges aren't unfocused energy any more, we've had those for years now, Aoshi was actually quite powerful and knew full well what he was doing, that day he had not been wearing an ablative armlet like i was and to tell the truth what happened wasn't pretty at all"

Rei shifted his weight " also I'm not sure but the relays have allowed several outside entities into the town, three or four of which are at this very moment sitting within the walls of this house. Although I don't have an idea on how the two correlate at the moment aside from some thing escaped during the melee and headed this way"

he paused for a moment and then continued " i take it by that last question. some thing has been happening?"

Coughed and blushed at hte interuption. The only reason she still looked somewhat younge was due to her shape shifting. and even that was starting to become a strain to hid the gray hairs. 'DOn't worrie Rei I kept the basic enchant ment but got rid to the scaring effects. But sereously you had a hell of a cuse on this thing. It wasn't one that you were talking about either it was more like a becon or something like that. ANy way it's all fixed now so here you go." SHe handed the band back to him. Next he leaned over to Sirus and whispered. "I'm sure I want to try this again. I know what happened last time but that was 20 years ago things change. I promise this time it will be different"

Sirus nodded at her blushing still whispering back "im willing ir your willing.." He then turned to Rei "basically an energy has swept through the city, hitting younger people and changing them into demons" cllicks his fingers "just like that" He let got of Ash for amoment "Its not an energy im all to familure with, and seeing as they look like demons i have seen from the gates, i thought you might know more."

Ash moved around the shop colecting various weapons and such as well as tending to the Green flame and the special metal. SHe returned t oSirus's side and layed dow a multidude of weapons. "THese work well against demons. and I'll be right back I have a preasent fotr both of you." She kissed Sirus on the cheek and skipped off humming happily to her self. She soon came upon a large vault and opened it. OUt if it she plucked two amazingly decroative daggers and returned once again. "Here we are. These are for both of you. This is my master piece design. THe reflection blade. I stops anything. as for the demons comming out I would say that there is a definate connection with them and the dementional visitors like my assistant back there. Also Have you considered that the dark lord Karagore might some how be involved in all this?"

Sirus Went redder then his quills when he was kissed on the cheek, then looked as she bought in the swords he smiled "you know my swords can more then handle demons" Then he looked at the dagger astonished "this is..beautiful" He spun it inbetween his fingers then found a sheath in his jacket to put it just as Ash mentioned  dark lord Karagore  "no he couldnt be involved...can he?"

Rei Took the Dagger from Ashy and spun it on his finger tip,then looked up to her " you never cease to surprise mama, you really are the Hammer" Rei then picked up the armlet and inspected it, made a few mental notes and then put it back on. "As for the weapons the lance works wonders, i mean before it belonged to me it was my birth mothers, and we all know what she was like" Rei stood for a moment then spoke " speaking of the lance lets take a look at it"

Rei took out the lance in it's dormant state which meant it looked nothing more then a black iron quarter staff just 100 times heavier " the lance also started acting up after the surge i can't peg it though so maybe you could offer some insight Ashy"

Rei held the lance out away from every one and focused his mind on it he then let go and the lance hovered where he had held it up. for a second it did nothing , but then it started pulsing, it grew to about 10 feet long and the wicked  blade formed, it spun around a few times the came to a stop. Rei stood focusing on it and then opened his eyes, the blade which in its war form looked like it was shorn from the hell gates them selves was intimidating if anything else especially for some to see it for the first time,
Rei then waved a hand across the weapon and it went from its dark and hideous war form to it's true celestial form "ok mama here it is" Rei turned and waited to see if any one would pick up on the inconsistencies

"oh . you know, actually i never gave it to much thought , actually anakka ku run was my first though but now i dont know"

Ashoova Spun it round and smiled "Ah good old Depth Metal. She stil sings too. All it needs is a bit of sharpening and it'll be good as new." Ash was very particular about the sharpness of things. Enven her "blunt" war hammers were made out of thousands of tiny sharp edges. If it cant cut silk when you Drop it on it it's not that sharp. Was her moto. "But back to the matter at hand The Reflection blades are... INteresting when they encounter a deamon let me demonstrate." She moved back to the forge of melting Souls and fished out a frest tormented soul fromm the River Styx that ran through it and brought it out. "Sirus please stab the soul would you dear?"

Aori then stood up, and a few mins. later, after already sensing 3 of them, her eyes slightly widened as she sensed two more Organization members appear in this world, one a few seconds after another. "That's strange, what are they doing here?" she once again said to herself, 'Scales might've appeared by now to check on the mission but that's it, seems spectre is here now as well, perhaps he can enlighten me about this...' she thought to herself, 'What are they after with so many of them here?' she asked herself.

Sirus chuckled "Gladly" He took the the dagger out stabbing down on the Demon soul.



[span style=\'color:orange\'] Sai smiled at her sweetly "of course i am, aw come on you cant denie you havent wanted to kiss me anyways" he grinned, a large cheeky smile after what he had said, the school girls seemed to be interested in what was going on.[/span]

She kept looking at him, her cheeks blushing slightly, "well, I uh- that, well er... can we just get this over with? ><"

Sai chuckled "waiting on your sugarplum" He sat up waiting for her to do something

Rocky blushed, becoming flustered as Sai waited for her, "uh, oh r-right - ok yeah ><" she shuffled closer to him and lifted her chin up, planting a gentle kiss upon Sai's beak, going even redder as she did so.

The girls stopped watching. As Sai chuckled slightly "thats it? that was your kiss, i ment something to make them jeleous of!" he took her arm gently pulling her then full blown kissing her on the lips (dont ask me how when he has abeak but hey its fantasy right) for a few seconds then pulled back as the Girls were gob smacked.

Rocky gave a short squeal as Sai grabbed her arm, which was shortly silenced as he began to kiss her. For the few seconds that he kissed her, she too kissed him back. She looked at him after as he pulled away, trembling slighty. Her cheeks a bright scarlet.

it was obvious the school girls were Green with envy all turning and walking off in a humph. Sai layed back calmy going back to his sunbathing a Grin on his face "there ya go, now in guessing you were looking from me by ya commant from earlier"

Ash watched as the sould Screamed in toment and Vanishished as if it were being sucked into the blade itself. "See much more effectve."

Sirus tilted his head smirking "A genius idea, as always Ashy. This will come in useful for close encounters"

(Wow, you've been busy while i've been out XD)

He nodded over to Ash when the hammer passed by, not even phased by it. Kyne had been busily working at the forge, quietly watching as he worked the bar into a strand, 1 1/2 inches wide, 1/2 thick, and 5 feet long, a flattened rectangle. Once done, he took the white hot strip out of the fires, and carved a single rune of strength into the exact center of it with his claw.

"Now all that's left is finishing the imbuement, and it'll be ready," he said to himself as he walked over to a almost empty table, quickly cooling the strip and sending the heat out the forge flue. he set the now slightly warm strip on the table, rune up, and reached into his bag and pulling out a medium toolkit, filled with what looked like random powders, liquids, and wands, and setting it beside it.  He sat on his now mainly unwrapped tail, styled like a stool, and began his work, taking a vial of blue ink, a certain brown powder vial, and a silver wand inlaid with gold runes. "Now, if I start with these ones, i can get a good solid base on it..." and he trailed off as he started organizing various vials of dust and ink and started to work, writing runes and muttering minor spells to himself.

Rocky was still, blushing madly, unable to believe that she had just been kissing Sai, "I, uh, well, uh... maybe"

Sai chuckled again "maybe you wouldnt of come all this way less you really wanted to see me, so come on spit it out" He lifted his head looking at her crossing his legs waiting for her to make some kind of reply

Rocky smiled at Sai as her cheeks died down in colour and shrugged, "well its to early to go home... since Sir closed up early and and all, and I knew you were about so I thought I;d come find you^^"

Sai looked at her "so you came to find me cause you were bored?...nice.." he layed his head back down "so what now?"

"well I certainly didn't find you to kiss you, if thats what you meant!" she sighed and shrugged, "I dunno, what do you wanna do?"

Sai chuckled at another chance to tease her "oh yeah sure you didnt" He flipped up off the bench "well its a hot day, could always go swimming i guess" He shrugged

"-.- stupid kiss..." she grumbled under her breath as he teased her again. She yawned and gave a stretch as he stood up, miling at him, "sure, alright then^^"

Sai hopped off the bench  started waling to the exit of the city "come on then, beach isnt ganna come to you ya'know"

"h-hey! wait for me!" she ran after him

Sai kept going towards the beach, as these 2 were walking the pulse of dark energy Sirus had mentioned to Rei would be felt by all those senseative
[span style=\'color:red\']Sirus smirked putting the dagger away "as always Ash, your Weapons are the be.." he stopped shuddering slightly "did any of you feel that?"[/span]

Kyne's ears perked up and he paused a second while working, "I did, a pulse of energy, not sure what kind, but it wasn't friendly," he said and quickly finished the step he was working on, "Any idea what it was?" he asked, continuing at a slightly faster pace.

Ashoova pressed her hand against the wall "Aye I felt it... Forge... Arinal please." Weapon racks popped out of everywhere with every imaningable weaopon held neatly on them. "Alright boys load up."

Feeling the energy she thought to herself now 'That might have something to do with it', Just after scales prescence had appeared near her. She could then sense him smirk just before showing himself to her.
"What's this about?" she said quietly.
"We are making our move" he told her, also being quiet.
"Our move? what's going on? What are you after now?" She asked.
"Isn't it obvious?" he grinned as he told her.
"Not really..." she said, though she have a pretty good idea what they wanted. "Why are there so many of us here?" She continued to ask.
"That's none of your concern, just continue with your mission as you were told." He replied.
She then gave a small smirk holding it in, inside she knew she wanted to play with him as usual, but she had to be serious now, and try to get as much information from him as possible. Later she can get more information from spectre, seeing as he is in this world as well, it was obvious they were after something big.
However seeing the smirk on her face he immediatly knew what she was thinking, and gave a more serious look, telling her "Don't even try anything.", he was in no mood to deal with it.
She then told him "Bring Spectre to me."
"Hmm... I'd rather not but I'll talk to him, if that's how your going to be."
After a few more seconds passed he looked around quickly to make sure noone was around or discovered him, he may have been there slightly to long and was risking getting discovered, so as quickly as he had appeared he had now dissappeared and left so as to avoid the chance of anyone noticing his prescence being there any longer.
"I'll see what I can do..." he said reluctantly as he disappeared.
Afterwards she quietly smiled and said to herself, "good."
She then yawned and sat back down for a few mins. she then got back up to find where everyone else and see what they were doing.  besides, it was gonna be a while before she could speak with him anyways.

Rocky walked with beside Sai as they headed to the beach. She looked around as the pulse of dark energy was felt. However as ewre senses still wern't properly tuned she made no sense of whatever it was she had felt and shook the feeling off.

After she walked for a little bit she had wandered over to the room where Ash and Sirus were, Rubbing one of her eyes again she looked up, and not recognizing Sirus from before she hid behind the doorway and timidly peeked out to see what they were doing. But seeing everything happening she became slightly frightened and quietly asked, "Wha... what's going on?", her eyes almost about to tear up, confused, scared, and seemingly not knowing what's happening.

Sirus took his Scimitars putting them on his trousers, he noticed a rather large Double handed sword, he picked it up placing it on his back and smirked and Ash "Always wanted to try one of these out"

[span style=\'color:orange\']Sai looked at her "you alright? seemed to go all dizzy on me for a second there" Sai stopped to let her responde

[span style=\'color:red\']Sirus noticed the little girl hiding and smiled "hey whos this then?" He looked at Ash grinning cheekly "dont tell me you had another one"[/span][/span]

She stopped and looked up at Sai and nodded, "mhm fine... just... the heat I think, I'm ok now^^" she smiled at him

Rei knelt behind , the little girl and whispered " they're just having one of their moments" he stood back up and laughed a bit

"Twisted Spirit" Rei barked in a stern tone and held out his hand, at which the lance which was in inspection mode returned back to it's war form and zipped into his hand,  while he was putting his arm band back on he turned to sirus "well then I see what you're talking about, how ever i don't think that this was the hell gates"

Rei placed the dagger in his belt "well then. shall we do this?"

"Ahh, demonic slaying weaponry," Kyne said and stood, his clothes returning to their normal robes, "I've got some spells of my own for that," he said, closing the enchanting box and reaching into his bag, retrieving a long staff topped with a large red gem. He tapped it on the ground once, and a small flicker of light emitted from the gem. "So, what kind of dark forces will we be fighting anyways?" he asked, pulling a book from his bag and laying it on the table and starting to flip through it.

Sirus crossed his Arms  eye closed "Well if we knew that we would know exactly what to take wouldnt we" he went over closing the book "not everythings going to be in your book kid"

[span style=\'color:orange\']As Sai turned around to see if Rocky was okay he smiled to her, behind him just down the street something black could be seen washing through the street like water[/span]

Rei chuckled to himself at the fact that Sirus was very bold among his kind, giving them a childish aspect, albeit he knew Ashoova and him self were older by at least a quarter century. this fact Rei wouldn't  hold against the Echidna after all, Sirus and his adoptive mother seem to be happy with each other, so he wouldn't unnecessarily ruin any thing good in these times hard times.

Rei walked out side into the street and saw the distortion the wave had caused through his red eye, so far no one in his immediate vicinity had been affected, and fate willing no one would, as there is no way to reverse the process, only stop it.

Rei knelt down and started drawing an array in the dirt, he was bringing up a map of the city's magical defense grid and also the trans dimensional barrier, knowing that what was going on was going to be causing major problems very shortly. As the arrays activated they showed a very detailed view of the city's infrastructure within seconds he had found the epicenter of the dark energy, then he frowned and turned back to the group

"Hey! Sirus, did any of the demons spawned from these events carry any royal seals? and Ashy is there any secret chambers that we don't know about beneath the Grand council?  I think I might have found the problem."

plain as day the image shown a 3d cross section of the castle and the grand council building and some where about 20 ft below the last basement level a large field of dark energy was being generated. and to top it all of it was also beginning to take on the shape of an array it self,

Rei worked as fast as he could with out having to divert power from any of the node sites he rerouted a new perimeter around the dark energy field, and then began to work on a cut off system to stop the wave from growing as the new system came into operation the wave of dark energy was cut from its source and began to diminish. he brought up a cross section to see the concentration of the waves energy mass and the frowned again, he quickly routed  a series of brakes in front of the path of the wave in hopes of  reducing the chances that the energy would corrupt and change any innocent bystander .

"I have good news and bad news,  the good news, i know where the energy is originating and managed to cut a good deal of the damage the wave will cause. The bad news, it was to intense to be able to stop all at once, residual energy will wash down over the  city and come to a stop before the market area by the beach." he closed the grid and stood up.

" We have a lot of work to do and I can guarantee it won't be pretty"

Kyne looked up from the book, "No, not everything, but a damn good amount is. I know plenty about a lot of things, and finding hidden things is one of them, since apparently the source of this isn't on the map. No offense, but i am far older than you may think, and have seen just as much as you, trust me on that." he picked up his book and put it back in his sachel. "Now, I know that since apparently there is a hidden area under the ground, I have some friends that can easily find it for us, how's that sound?" kyne asked.

Rocky smiled back at him, however her smile soon faded as a look of panic and fear swept across her face, "S-Sai! R-Run!" she grabbed his hand, starting to run in the opposite direction.

Sirus Sneared "i doubt that child, and we know where the chambers are, we just need to find the way in, think you can handle that?" He crossed his arms expecting a trypical 'Yeah i can' answer from him.

[span style=\'color:orange\']Sai smiled back then was grabbed by the arm being pulled "h-hey OW whats wrong!?" He looked back seeing the looming tide of black "oh Shhhhi" He turned back running with Rocky. As it swept round it engulfed other people who wernt quick enough, when they reammerged their bodies were burnt and twisted, covered in oozing boils as their skin and features began to change.[/span]

"What do we do?! What do we do?!?!" Rocky panicked as she continued to run with Sai. Behind her she was able to catch glimpses of those who wern't quick enough being mutilized by the black tide. "SAI WHAT DO WE DO?!?!?! ><"

"No, I mean what's going on with everything!" She said, waving her arms up and down in responce to Rei's comment. "I wanna know what's going on!, and and and... dere was this big Lizard man that appeared in front of me!!" She told him, as though to make Scales' efforts to hide his prescence almost pointless, as their meeting earlier was ment to be secret. She almost couldn't help but chuckle about it.

Meanwhile, a round portal portal of dark purple and black energy had opened up as a man walked through, little could be seen of him considering appeared to be in shadow, but his eyes were serious about this matter, and always seemed slightly sinister. He was called Redfang, leader of organization X, (Or so they are called), he had appeared here in secret and not even the other members had known he was there yet except for one.
"I decided to show here in person." He said after stepping through, as he carried what appeared to be several scythe-like tools. "We will start harvesting soon, also look for any strong people that may be willing to join our organization as well." He told another shadowy figure. He then let go of one of the Scythes and seemingly allowed it to drop towards the ground.
The other member dissappeared and reappeared where the scythe was about to fall, leting it drop into his hands, "Consider it done." He responded, dissappearing once again someplace else, each time a bit of dust flew around where he was just was.

"Yes. It is a simple task locating hidden things when you have senses sharper than a dragons," he said, stashing his staff in his satchel, and  retrieving one topped with a large green gem. "Now, the sooner we get moving the better, am I right?"

Rei stepped between the two, " kids lets not and say we did, yes?  personaly now that i have an idea of where it's coming from. Unearthing what ever is down there will be simple for me. my curiosity is that, i was never informed about secret dungeons beneath the Grand councils Chambers, this of course goes along with my suspicions about them or at least a few of the higher ranked members."  

Rei walked up to the little girl, and very quietly whispered in her ear "was that one of your friends?" then he picked her up on his shoulder and said out loud " nothing to worry about just a lil' mayhem and the grown ups look like they have some hash to settle on the side".

"look we need to split up on this one, there's gonna be one massive casualty report and plenty of scared civilians to boot, I've seen the worst the dark energy can do and from the size of the wave this will be a repeat of the battle of Challus on a small scale."

From the Distance a roar could be heard over the chaos that the city had been plunged into. "That must be the first of them" Rei put the little girl down and then Ran out side and stopped in his tracks. " this is fuc......" at that moment a large piece of stone came flying towards the house, Rei took two steps forward then turned jumped on the wall of the house then rebounded towards the large stone fragment Rei Swung with all his strength and as the Lances broad side struck the stone, all his muscles tensed and bulged in an enormous transfer of force, the stone slowed then took on the redirected kinetic energy and went flying to the side landing in a nearby field,rei landed on the roof of a house adjacent to Ashy's. " he turned to face them and his eye's glowed an intense red " time to move out!"

Sirus watched all this happen as the stone was sent skywards he then looked at Ashy and Kyne "alright, foxboy your with Rei, Ashy your with me, the games afoot"

[span style=\'color:orange\']Sai quickly took his shirt off throwing it to the side grabbing rocky "hold onto me!" he let her go to let her latch on as he started to flap his wings, the dark tide litterly feet away from them[/span]

"Right," Kyne said running out, the gem on the staff glowing brightly. He easily lept up to Rei's side, "I'm with you, let's get to the palace, we've apparently got a good lot of work to do," he said.

She held onto Sai tightly as he grabbed her, she whimpered as she watched the black tide just metres below them.

Rei grinned as kyne sowed no strain in getting to the roof top, so he decided that it would be ok to go at full speed, Rei crouched down and his muscles bulged as he pushed off from the roof top, he shot towards the heart of the city, right before he took off he made a quick comment "I'll tell you more about spikey later" and he was gone.

"Right," Kyne said and watched Rei leap off, and after whispering a few short words and a few gestures, lept off behind him, keeping pace, one jump behind Rei.

Ashoova Turned to Sirus. "SO now that we're alone... What do you wnat to do hmmm?" She asked smiling and stroking his quills again.

Sirus turned to her As she asked him "well we should re-" before he could carry on she started stroking his quills As he blushed again tilting his head into the stroking He smiled blushing "i-i dont mind"

Ash Giggled and pulled him in to the other room FLicking her fingure as she went. THe sign out front flipped to closed. as a big door clanked shut over teh forge. "Let's go some where more... quite shall we?" she said smiling

"whoa!" Sirus got dragged into the room, then looked at her blushing all over at her offer about going somewhere 'quiet' "heh of course" - .^-[/span]

[span style=\'color:orange\']Sai became to tired to keep flying landing on the roof of a small cafe as the tide swept past it. He let Rocky go fallingonto the ground panting "t-there..d-dont say..i-i dont d-do anything for you"

Rocky knelt y the edge of the roof, watching the flow past below.She then turned looking at Sai, then bowed her head, "t-thank you..."

Sai shooks his head "it..its fine" he sat up looking over at the wave, then saw 2 figures jumping rooftop to roof top "huh..hey rocky look at that" he pointed to them

"huh?" she looked up seeing where he was pointing and tilted her head slightly, "oh yeah... wonder if hey were getting away from the black tide too?"

Rei landed on top of a building next door to the grand council's entrance and waited for Kyne to catch up " This so isn't what I planned on doing when I decided I was coming home.  he pulled a scroll from a hip pack and unrolled it and began to inspect the lay out of the council chambers. to his left he began to hear screams, some of terror and disbelief and others of the grim mutation taking place, a change brought on by the wave of dark energy a change Rei was all but to familiar with. he turned to see where Kyne was.  

"hurry up long tails thar's work to be done!"

Kyne quickly landed beside Rei, being not far behind him, "So, that's the place, eh?
Nice. Well, we've got work to do, as you said, lead the way." he said.

Rei Took out his lance and began a complex series of signs " You see old spike butt back there is actually quite young compared to say... my little sister or more accurately niece, Fuka. thats mainly because he was married to my aunt i think she let some of our secrets sliip"

  Rei slammed the head of the lance into the ground three times and then left it standing in the ground

 With the lance in the ground Rei smacked  the pole twice and a light traced into the ground, which after a short bit began to shake

After a while the rumbling stopped and a tunnel rose from underground. " short and simple he has trust issues, he should lighten up , you just have to win his respect, pointless as that may be, perhaps if you challenge him to a spar match later? I dunno I've been gone for way to long, and now this. tell you what I'm not surprised this world was on it's way to a transition."

Rei hopped down from the roof "well let's get a move on"

"Ahh, I see. If you don't mind me asking, how old are you, and ol' spiky?" Kyne said, walking behind Rei as they went, the gem on his staff lighting the way as needed.

Rei turned to Kyne and winked "I'm some where in the neighborhood of 6500 years old, which is still young to the standard of my people, but to most I have lived several life times"

Rei popped out his map again and looked at the direction they were heading
"Spikey is what I refer to Sirus as, and that's only because appearance wise he is my elder."

He directed them down through the many passage ways which wound around the inner sanctum of the grand council, and stopped  at a dead end.

" so then may I ask, What brings you to our little town?"

Kyne followed behind Rei, "Well, let's just say sometimes spells don't work how you want them to," and they came to the dead end. He tapped the staff of on the ground twice, the gem flased brightly once, and the hidden passage here opened itself up, leading onward towards the inner sanctum.

Ashoova smiled and Kissed Sirus However with all the commotion It really wouldn't be appropiate to go any farther at this time. "We'll have to put this on hold ok sweety? Right now why don't we go re join the others and figure out what is going on."

Sirus blushed at the kiss then  nodded in agrrement a slight disappointment on his face, but then he smiled holding his hand out" Just like old time huh?"

Rei stood and stared at the new entrance to the inner sanctum " well gee golly that sure was quicker then it used to be" he scratched behind his ear and raised an eye brow

" well i guess at this point any and all damage added is just icing on the cake" and he proceeded in with caution , Rei wasn't at all thrilled to be here. Age's ago this was a proving ground of sorts for a dark lord who conducted summoning experiments. even the ambient energy had not returned to normal it was still very highly charged, in fact it was to the point that his lance which had been placed back into rest mode started to act up, pulsating with the different energy fields

"well i guess you're full of all kinds of neat knowledge aren't you?" he stopped and batted his left ear around a bit, for a few minutes he tried get a fix on the surrounding area " You do know of course that there's no longer any guarantee that we'll walk out of here sane, let alone in one piece" He took out the map scroll, " so whatsit to be? up to see the horrors of being consumed by the dark energy or down to see what evil god has caused it.? "

Rocky looked at him with a not impressed look but then nodded returning the smile, "sure, betta then sitting here^^"

Sai sniggered picking he rup putting her on his back "Hang on" He lept off the side gliding over to the building landing a few feet from the hole that had been made

"Oh, I know a lot, but cmompared to my friend Keaton I know nothing," he said and tapped the staff on the ground again, a soft green field emitting around the pair, "I've felt very similar energies before, and lucky I've learned a lot of effective defences against them. Insanity is a lot less likely if you have the right knowledge. I think getting to the bottom of the situation and solving the root problem would be best. So, shall we?" he said, waving his hand to the opened passage.

Rocky sat happily on Sai's back, enjoyng the feel of the wind brush thrugh her quills as he glided across to the other building. She peered over Sai's shoulder and down at the hole as he landed, "so... down there I guess?"

Sai nodded "i just saw a light then it moved away from the hole. Come on ^^" He leaped down landing silently on the ground. he turned whispering back up to Rocky "your turn"

she watched him jump down, and gave a nod as he called her, "ok, here I come!" she jumped down beside him, and looked about it, "where exactly are we?" she whispered

Sai looked around "uh..think this is the council chambers or something.." He looked seeing the light disappear somewhere the room going comppleatly dark "ah..."

"uh >.<" Rocky grabbed onto Sai's feathers so not to lose him, "I don't like the dark..."

Down in the dark a voice quietly said, "Boulder, make some sparks for them now if you will." Suddenly a larger Rock-like creature rubbed it's hand's together quickly to make sparks as a another figure who's appearance was like a ninja held a torch-like object close to cause it to catch fire, "So you guys are following them to huh?... I don't know what you think you are doing here but we have to wait here until a couple of others arrive to help us out, but you can go on if you want, this torch will help you out since you seem to be bothered by the dark, here you go." The man said as he handed the torch to them.

Meanwhile...
as Aori was just standing around a blur rushed in from the side stopping directly in front of her. There stood Redfang looking down at her, "I have a new mission for you now, your going to join up with the rest of us now tofor our new mission." She then smiled and looked back at him, "It's about time you let me in on it!! hehe..."
"Yes, now it's time for your part to help out, I'm actually pairing you up with me this time, we're going to actually collect power right now at the moment, come on, Boulder and Fade are already waiting for us there."
Redfang then proceeded to drop another one of those scythe like objects letting RaiKiri catch it. "Let's go." he said. Just then they both dissappeared to where the other two were.
Huh? wow, that was quick." Fade said as the two appeared.
"Come on, Spectral and Scales will be joining us shortly just as soon as they are done gathering their information, for now we are going to go on ahead without them." Redfang said to them.
"Sorry guys, we're going on. have fun..." he said, afterwards the four of them dissappeared further into the area arriving just behind the other two. Redfang stepping forward, "Who are you?" he asked, wondering who these two were before them. The others simply stood behind him as he awaited a response from the two.

Kyne stopped and turned around, looking at the man suddenly there, "Depends on who's asking, but since you got through my field i guess you're not with whatever's down there. Name's Kyne," he said.

"Hmm... that's interesting, you both seem rather strong and capable, tell you what, why don't you come along and join our organization." Redfang told to them, almost slight demanding in his voice. "We ARE looking for strong members to join up with us at the moment. so what do you say?" he then stood silently waiting for a responce from the two.

"Depends, what does your organization do?" kyne asked, with only slightly marked suspicion

Sai took the torch a little bewildered at the fact there were more down here. He nodded "thanks...i think.." He looked at Rocky then turned as the other 2 appeared, blinking a few times he just stood watching them head off away from them leaving it just Rocky and Sai with the torch. He lookedat her again "Wanna follow em?"

Rocky looked at Sai, and shook her head, "I... I don't know... this is a little weird..."

Sai shrugged "cant be anymore weird then being chased by black water that changes people into demons.."

"yeah but these are weird people in a building, waiting for more weird people to arrive!"

"My name is Rei, Rei Tsukikage"with out turning around Rei cocked his head at an angle " I could extend the same question to you Seeing as that we were here first".

 he slowly rolled up the scroll and returned it back to it's holding place " Kyne could these be friends of yours? they smell like they are from off world to me"

"I don't know them, but i think we're about to find out about them," he said, still looking at the newcomers.

"well we can sneak round, hide somewhere and watch what they do instead" He smiled somewhat reassuringly

She nodded, "s-sure..." feeling somewhat reassured by his confidence

He took her hand quickly heading up the corridor, he reached the corner the rest had turned and stopped. Holding the torch to one side so as not to let it show they were there, he pressed agasint the wall to listen in to what was going on

RedFang took a single step forward and began to speak, "We are an organization of top ranked individuals working to a goal, though we don't officially have any name we have come to be referred to as 'Organization X', right now our goal is currently to collect some kind of energy, to form something we are just going to go ahead and call the 'Dark Seal'... for what reason we can't quite currently say. It would help us to clear out all this energy and any other problems with this world, so long as your at least willing to cooperate with us, but I'd still like for someone to join us if possible.  So what do you say, how about it?", he then paused to wait for a responce.

Kyne, still a little suspicious, "Dark seal, and you can't tell us what it does?" he said, scanning him lightly, and detecting no evil from him, "I'll cooperate, but i'll think about joining up with you."

"Not precisely, it's a bit complicated and I don't exactly feel like I wanna explain it right now. But we are harvesting this energy right now for it's creation." He responded to Kyne. "But it's name in itself should be somewhat explanatory as to what it does, if you must know."

"It seals away darkness, and by the sounds of it, it's gonna be huge. So, you want my help to gather the energy to help create this thing? Well, I am rather good at energy manipulation, esspecially fire, and i do know seal techniques. i can see where i would be valuable to you, but what would be in it for me?" Kyne said, more curious than suspicious now.

RaiKiri smacked herself on the head just remembering, "Duh! of course!! Remember the book I gave you earlier? It's in there!! If you'd like to read about it anyways...", RedFang then looked back at RaiKiri, "Huh?! What? You gave them a book huh? Well I guess then that works too." He said looking back at Rei and Kyne, "So then there you have it. That'll tell you what it does, so now what do you say?". smirking as he asked once more.

Kyne remembered the book, and reached into the sack, pulling it out, "So it's all in here, eh?" he said and started mummbled a few things under his breath and making a few hand signs, and then tapped the book. a quick shimmer went over the book and then back into is his finger, and he nodded, "I see, i could work toward a cause like that, consider me in," he said to Redfang.

Rei peered over at Kyne " Are you sure about that" he whispered

Rei turned to Face Red fang and the others while thinking to himself that these people looked the very definition of suspicious " Well If youre in for destroying whatever is down there then yes I'll join you"

 Rei figured that he was kind of at a loss for choices and for some reason his ear was twitching like mad but he ignored it  " you'll probably want to keep me far from what ever it is, because if i have to kill it, well there won't be any thing let alone energy left to harvest."

Rei pulled the rod that was the lance from its holster and at once it came to life," should this pierce the entities core, all energy will become nulled.

"Well, when we get to it i'll make sure it doesn't get anywhere near us," kyne said, looing around the tunnel, "I've defintely dealt with things like this, maybe even this specific entity, so this shouldn't be too hard. So, shall we go see what it is?" he asked.

Rocky looked at Sai, still worried as he listened in to the onoing conversation, "wh-what's going on?" she whispered as quiet a she could, but so Sai could still hear her.

Sai looked back at her also whispering for her ears only "think they are talking about whatever they are looking for...and some kind of seal.." He looked round the corner again "i think they are good guys too.."

"th-they didn't look like good guys..." she whispered, "wh-what do we do?!"

he looked at her covering her mouth "shh, quiet" He peered round the corner then back to her "we just watch and see, and stay hidden."

Rocky sighed and pressed herself agaisnt the wall, next to Sai, peering round and watching them

"Well. I guess I have no choice at the moment sure I'll help out but aside from that I have other more important things to take care of, should your motives prove counter productive to the defense of the city,  I think you get the picture"

Rei Formed the lance and turned back to Kyne " well shall we get moving?, i think we both know which way we're headed" Rei walked to the middle of the chamber and thrust his lance into what looked to be a small hole in the floor the ground shuddered but nothing else happened "well is every one coming?" he glanced past every one to check what had been buggin his ears earlier "hmm why do i get the feeling were being followed by more then these goons?" he thought quietly to him self.

"yeah, right behind ya, Rei," kyne said, walking up beside him, the glow from his staff getting stronger as he went.

Rocky looked at Sai, as Kyne and Rei began to move and gave a whispered whimpered, "they'll find us!" she whispered panickly to him

Sai again covered her mouth putting his finger to his beak to indicate to be quiet. As he stayed lent agasint the wall putting his torch out.

Kyne perked up an ear, looking back where they had came, "hmm, coulda swore i heard someone," he thought to himself, still providing the green light of protection from his gemmed staff.

"That because there were a couple of pests down here before I arrived, my men where talking to them." Said Redfang just as two new figures arrived, one being the lizard 'Scales', and another figure who appeared in complete darkness except from the shoulders up, being multicolored, changing colors and becoming more and more transparent as it reached the top of his head. "We've concluded gathering data on the black tide, Sir." the figure said to Redfang.
"Good work Spectre." Redfang replied, "now we can begin properly extracting energy from this area."
Spectre just nodded as another scythe-like object appeared out of thin air for him.
Redfang looked at him then said "good, now let's get going."

Rocky quietened down almost immeidiatly as Sai covered her mouth. She continued to watch, still scared they were gonna get caught.

"Pests?" kyne said and tapped his staff on the ground again, a small green pulse going over the floor, "you mean children," he said and looked back to where they were, "Come on out, you two. I know you're over there," He called to them.

Rocky turned, glaring at Sai, giving him a 'I told you so...' look

"You aren't in trouble at all, really. comem on out, and we'll make sure you get somewhere safe," Kyne said, walking over to where they were.

Sai growled as he approched "always one person who can sense all and knows all isnt there..." Sai moved so he was in front of Rocky "We dont need to GO anywhere, we came here to see what was going on, not be ushered elsewhere."

"You won't, but trust me, you don't want to find out what's down there," he said, pointing to the hall they were about to go down. "Stay here, and stay alert, and keep this with you at all times, it'll will ward off whatever it is down there." he said and handed them both a small glowing green gem from his bag.

Sai batted his hand away "we dont need anything from you.. theres something odd down here. and its not just the darkness either"

Kyne frowned, "And that's exactly why you need these. what's down there is far beyond your knowledge, trust me. I barely comprehend it, and i've been around for decades before your parents. If you want to stay alive and Sane, I would highly recommend having this with you," He said a little sternly and held out the gem to him again.

Sai growled again "if i want your help ill ask for it" He batted his hand again this time causing the gem to fall from his hand "dont need help from aknow-it-all"

Kyne frowned again, and turned, "Fine then, i won't be held accountable for your safety, sanity, or well being," he said to sai and returned to Rei and the others, "Shall we continue?"

Rocky watched the the interaction between Kyne and Sai, then looked at Sai once the others had moved on. "no need to be so rude ya know... if he was trying to protect us..."

"would you trust someone who knew everything?...he was way to suspicious"

"I never said I knew everything," the pair would hear from Kyne as if he was standing beside them, but he was over with the others, "Oh, and don't be alarmed, merely a minor sending spell, so the others wouldn't here. Now if you're smart you'll pick up that gem and keep it close. I would feel bad if either of you got hurt or went insane," he said to them, and the voice faded away.

Sai exclaimed after that "SEE! how creepy was that?" He looked at the gem then kicked it down the corridor "not touching that thing" he held his hand out to rocky "come on, lets go, let them go that way we can go the other"

Redfang glanced over toward where Rocky and Sai were and said, "Ignore them, they are no help to us and need not be placed in danger, Now shall we move on or no?". Proceeding he issued an order silently to both Spectre and Fade to keep a watch on the two and continuously check up on them, knowing that Rocky and Sai were going to place themselves in the line of danger anyways.
Moving on he muttered to himself, "those two don't know what they're doing."

Kyne followed behind redfang, the feild he created warding off the unnatural darkness a they proceeded down into whatever it was that they were heading for.

Rocky looked at Sai, taking his hand, "ok, ok I get your point >.< let's just move away from the creeps, please?!"

Sai took her hand heading down the corridor opposite them using the torch to light the way. "Lets see what we can find"

She nodded, walking beside him down the corridor, not really knowing what they were going to find, or more to the point, what were they even trying to find.

Sai kept walking unsure about what he wa slooking for either, but knew he didnt just do all that back there to come out as an idiot later

Rei slipped past Every one and was infront of Sai and Rocky in a heart beat
"Sai , Kow Tow to your elders, Sirus would be ashomed of the way you are acting in this situation, for as good as you are at beginners level martial arts what lays at the bottom of this hall will surely put you in your grave. And Rocky You know Thunder would be sad if any thing should happen to you, Keep the Green stone with you just for the sake of it, and please, I urge you, reconsider what your next step will be, beause i would hate for any thing to happen to you, there are a lot of people in pain at the moment top side and i know one of you is a very good healer.

With that Rei returned to the group " I only hope they turn back, because there's nothing else i can do. "  Rei re started the platforms decent command and after a few minuets the area came to life, as the plat forms started to descend, the defense barriers began to come to life

"five minuets"

"hmph respecting elders, and i couldnt care if that old coger was ashamed" He stopped as Rei went off turning to rocky "you can leave if you want ill understand" He let go of Rockys hand[/span]

As the elevator landed, the gem on Kyne staff would flare up a lot brighter. "Hmm, we must be a lot closer, the shield is getting much stronger in response to both the shields and whatever is down here," he said, looking around cautiously.

Rocky looked at Sai as he let go of her hand. She shook her head, "nu uh, we said we'd investigate together, and I don't want to leave you and something happen to you... " she retook his hand again, still looking at him.

Sai smiled, a slight surprised look on his face "wow..thought you woulda left me" he held her hand then shuffled for a moment. For a split second he seemd to lower his "macho" persona "thanks..."

She smiled, innocent to his shuffle and the loss of his 'macho' persona, then shook her head, "well after everything this morning at the dojo and the kiss... and wel everything, I could leave you... but like I said, I don;t wanna leave you and something happen"

Kyne looked around some more, "Be on your guard all, this is stronger than i first anticipated," he said, taking a step off the platform on the new floor. He took out a small blue gem and charged it, and it started to glow, mixing the green and blue light together making a stronger field that would reveal the true nature of things. "There, now we'll see what's coming at us before it has a chance to actually strike," he said, still looking around.
