It sounds far fetched, but it's true. You can get paid for reading e-mails, clicking ads, and taking surveys. All for a low, low cost of $0.00. It does take a little bit of effort, but you can do it all from the comfort of your home.

This is no get-rich-quick scheme. GPT (Get-Paid-To) sites are no replacement for a full time job. Instead, they provide a way to make a little bit of extra cash that can go towards your lunch or maybe even laundry. It's not much - you get paid from a few cents up to a dollar to read an e-mail or sign up for something - but it adds up over time. And time is really all you need, other than patience. It takes a few minutes to fill out the surveys, and a while after that for them to credit.

What do you need to get started? First, you need a separate e-mail address. Your inbox will be flooded with confirmation e-mails, e-mails you get paid to read, and spam. You definitely don't want that in your regular e-mail. Next, you'll want to get more e-mail addresses. Many advertisers make different offers, and many of them belong to the same family. If you try to use one e-mail address for one offer, and the same one from another from the same advertiser/group - you won't get credited for the second one.

Also, you'll need to know how to clear your cookies. In Firefox, all you have to do is go to Tools > Clear Private Data, and make sure "Cookies" is checked. Alternatively, if you're a Windows user, you can download CCLeaner, which will clear cookies from all your browsers.

And here's proof of payment, showing that, this does in fact work. This one is from DollarClickOrSignup. I cashed out at the bare minimum ($1) so I could have something to show you guys:

Another awesome GPT site is CrownGPT. Pays out instantly with a $5 minimum, and has $2.15 in daily clicks every day. That is, you can meet the required cashout amount in a little over two days from just clicking ads. Though, I also recommend trying out the quizzes, as they have good incentives, too.

Resurrecting this thread to mention another survey site. This one is called DollarSurveys. All you need is your PayPal address. No registration or anything. Then, you get paid (usually within a week) to take as many surveys as you want. They sometimes have other offers, too. It is definitely worth checking out. :D
