Has anyone read the three books by Phillip Pullman?

I heard they're making them into a movie..which I despise, since they messed up the point.

The three books are called The Golden Compass, The Subtle Knife, and The Amber Spyglass.

I only own the last one, but I remember the other two enough to know if the movie is going to ruin the series..

Even this was made a year ago, I think it could use some dusting off.

Who all's seen the movie? They impressed me with how well it was done. A nice refresher away from the butchered Harry Potter's. I just dno't like how they cut out pretty much the entire last half of the last chapter x3

*Nods and shrugs.* There was just one main thing that ticked me off about it and that was hte last chapter getting cut out XD

And that's the main thing that I can remember X3
