Random Adventure II

[Samui]

Time for a fresh start and stuff.

Like before, it's random, anyone can join, and it can go in any direction - which is what "random" means.

Just a few basic rules:

- No death, except to NPC's. Your character(s) must reflect damage, though.
- Don't go overboard. This may be a random adventure RP, but don't take the randomocity of it too far.
- Have fun.

And, of course, the main rules of these forums are to be followed.

Samui was walking through the forest. It was another uneventful day, not much was happening. Things were peaceful, and he was glad it had been that way for a long time. He continued to walk, lost in thought.

[Roland Voidheart]

Suddenly, Kitsune Samurai Keitaro is tossed by an unseen bad guy into Samui's path.
*Rubs head and gets up*
You! Get away from here! That bastard's creature is coming for me.
*Deep voice sounds out* Come here, little FOX. My master wants to speak with you.
*Keitaro draws his swords*

[Samui]

"What the?..." Samui looked in the direction Keitaro came from. "Who is that?"

[Roland Voidheart]

"Not who," hew said, "but what. It's been following me for some time now. I tried to leave it alone, but it keeps coming. What it is isn't important though. The issue at hand is how am i going  to kill it"
*suddenly, a huge creature covered in bony plates jumps onto the path*
"Here you are," it said, "I might as well take your little friend here with me too"
*Creature's fingers grow into sharp claws*
"Lets keep this civil, okay?" it said.

[Samui]

"Just what is 'it'?" Samui asked. Just then he saw the creature. "HEL-lo!" he said, looking it over.  He did not know what to say. Then he thought of something. "You know...there's nothing civil about...um...what...you are doing..."

[Roland Voidheart]

"Enough of this" Keitaro said. "Your 'master' was the one who took my friends, wasn't he?" :angry:
"Clever little fox" the creature said "And I'm guessing you want to see them again?"
"I know I want to see you DEAD" Keitaro yelled.
*Keitaro leaps and rams both swords through creature's neck, then spreads swords apart, cutting its head off*

[Samui]

Samui just stood and watched. He didn't know whether or not he should get involved in this. Besides, Keitaro seemed to have things under control.

[Sasayaki]

meanwhile sitting up in a tree Satsuki saw the whole thing and begins to giggle uncontrolably...
*wow, that was cool! umm...i didnt expect to see another two foxes here either... i guess u dont need any help so ill just watch... Satsuki doesnt have much power at the moment anyways, i'd just be in your way..." *begins to giggle again and bangs head against tree in a hysterical fit of laughter*

[Ozymandias]

Sage walks casually onto the scene, observing the fallen creature as he walks slowly around it. he then walks up to Keitaro. "You know, you could just call the master, or whatever, on a cell phone and all of that could have been avoided. But okay," he said, looking at the creature, nodding his head, "wasting energy is fine by me if that's what you wish to do."

[Sasayaki]

Satsu still laughing hysterically falls loses balance and falls out of the tree hitting her head on the ground... "OW! well...ha ha, i cant stop... aha ha ha... laughing! is that...ha ha.. a big enough...ahahahahhah...waste...aha... of energy?!?!?" Satsu finally calms down after 5 minutes, while rubbing her head in pain says "soz, i just couldnt stop... i mean, he cut that guys head off... for like... no reason!"

[Samui]

Samui looked towards the person who just fell. "Um...I...don't know if it's really funny. I mean, he looked quite serious."

[Roland Voidheart]

*The creature rises to its feet, electrical sparks shooting from its neck, and grabs Samui*
"Damn cyborgs" says Keitaro.
*Keitaro cuts off creature's hand, causing it to release Samui*
*Keitaro shoves sword's into the creature's chest, finally killing it*
"And was that a waste of energy, too?" Keitaro asks.

[Ozymandias]

Sage shrugs. "Who knows? Maybe it wanted to return his wallet or something."

[Samui]

"Er..." Samui was startled by the sudden grabbing. He watched Keitaro finish off the cyborg.

[Roland Voidheart]

"If I wanted it to return anything, I would want it to return my friends. It was this thing's 'master' that took them from me"
*Keitaro looks towards the west*
"I have to get them back. They are everything to me. But, I fear I am not enough. I implore you all. Help me. Help me regain what I have lost"

[Ozymandias]

Sage puts his hand to his chin. "Why exactly did he take your friends, now?"

[Rocky the Echidna]

Rocky was sat up in atree, resting aginst the tree trunk, she smiled to herself as she looked down, "well some treasure hunter you are^^ employing other people^^" she gave a small giggle, but not a mean one, "i did mean no offfence by what I've just said^^ it was a bit harsh..."

[Roland Voidheart]

"He took them for his damn experiments. He plans to take them apart, piece by piece, and make some sort of abomination with their energy. Please, do not make me beg. I need your help!   "

[Ozymandias]

Sage looks surprised. "My help?" he can be seen he's on the verge of laughter. "About the only thing I can offer you is a ride over to his base, which I assume he has one, and maybe give you some change and pocket lint... but that's about all I'm good for..."

[Roland Voidheart]

"Can anyone else offer their aid?"

[Samui]

"I'll do what I can."

[Rocky the Echidna]

Rocky jumped down from tree and looked at him, "course I'll help, if your need of it^^"

[Kynelongtail]

Out of nowhere, something bright flashed a short distance above the path, and a small portal opened and dumped kyne, who looked a tad burnt around the edges, out of it, straight toward the ground. He landed with an audible 'thud' on his butt, "OW! *gets up, rubbing his rump* Dangit, still haven't gotten that translocation spell right... hate it when spells backfire like that..."

He looked around, seeing everyone else around him and saw Rocky, "Ah, hello Rocky, and how are you? *looks to everyone else* I don't believe I've met any of you... Name's Kyne, master pyromagus and expert arcanist," he said, tilting his slightly scorched hat to them. "turns out by my latest spell's mishap that I could help with something, by the look on your face," he said looking at Keitaro, "and until i can find a way back to my village, I'll be glad to offer it."

((OOC: w00t the general purpose plot entrance of 'spell backfire' XD ))

[Rocky the Echidna]

"Hewo Kyne^^" Rocky smiled and waved at him. She couldn't help but giggle as she saw how scorched he was, "fancied a fire and u were the marshmellow?" she asked through her laughter

[Kynelongtail]

Kyne laughed a bit himself, dusting off what he could, "Well, that's one way to put it." He took a small bit of cloth and thread out of his bag and cast a small spell, repairing his clothing, and undoing a bit of the burns that were otherwise there.
