Aderyn did what any sensible person would do when being fired at by a ranged weapon of unknown power. She dived for cover. That cover was, a storage cabinet of sorts. digging around in it she found a most curious of objects, it was a roll of cloth with one side that was extremely sticky, it was also very strong. maybe i can fix my bow with this... she thought holding the two halves together and wrapping the sticky cloth around the break several times, applying pressure at the same.

Kyne also went for at leeast some sort of cover, raising his personal shield again instinctually as he went behind a pillar. 'Damned Psychotic people thinking that the world can be fixed with violence and fear,' he thought to himself, cursing the forces that brought him to this place to begin with.

Roland felt a bullet fly by him, only a few inches from his head, and still he didn't move.
"Now give me the gun, and we'll sort this out, yes? Nobody here is going to harm you, okay? No one wants to, unless you keep this nonsense up."
Roland gently extended his had towards Elizabeth.
"You know what's going to happen: you give it to me, we all calm the hell down, and we work together to get out of here. Sound good?"

The moment Elizabeth started firing, JT dived to the ground placing her right hand squarely on the floor propelling herself in a handstand before dodging to the left just barely avoiding one of the shots fired. If that shot had been fired a few inches to the left she would have been dead. JT was back on her feet within seconds and made an attempt to dive behind Elizabeth.

As she sprung to her feet after the dive, her knife was back in her hand instantaneously and she held it at Elizabeth's throat. "You mentioned a dagger in your back, I'd be glad to do the deed." Suddenly something clicked in JT's mind and her eyes went back to their normal murky blue. Huh... how did I get here... I thought I was gonna threaten her with a gun... Clearly disoriented, JT lowered her knife to her side. "What... happened...?"

OOC: She's close enough where if she's fired at, there's zero chance of missing.

Elizabeth spun, fixing her aim on JT, who had somehow gotten behind her. She pulled the trigger and.....
   Click.
   No bang.
   Elizabeth just stood there in shock for a moment, cursed, changed her grip on the gun to make it a usable melee weapon, and slammed JT across the face with it. She hit him (her?) again, and again, laughing all the while. Beau poked his head out of her collar for a moment, then ducked back down.

OOC: The 6th round had been fired before she even grabbed the gun. So, yeah, PWN’T. Thinking back to the little ammo there was for the gun, I don’t think it’s going to last long in her hands. She’s got 11 bullets left, but she’s still got to reload. Ouch.

Aderyn finished fixing her bow and strung it, testing its strength. It wasn't as good as it was before it broke but it would do. She took a quick inventory of her arrows. 30. Plenty. Putting one on the bow she stood up behind the barricade and drew it back to her pointed ear. "Everybody stop what you are doing! now! or I won't hesitate to feather you!" once she had everybody's attention she continued, "Everybody is going to drop their weapons now! if you don't i'll simply put an arrow between your eyes before you can even think about dodging, got it? Those who are left can discuss this like civilized people would. I plan on getting home and I won't hesitate to kill those who are going to get in the way"

Kyne sighed, 'i really hate it when things devolve to this kind of thing' he thought to himself, and lowered his shield again, sitting stolidly where he was.

[Roland Voidheart]

Roland saw his opening. Lunging forward, he tackled Elizabeth to the ground, and attempted to pry the gun away from her hand.
"You asked for this!" he shouted. "You humans never take it the easy way!"

JT stumbled backwards after Elizabeth hit her. She gently rubbed her head with her left hand because it was now hurting due to several hits with a gun. By this point JT was really confused and had no clue why she had hit her. "A dream... this... a dream..." She watched as Roland tackled Elizabeth, she needed to make a decision, even if it was a dream she still had to side with someone.

I'll help the bitch... I can always double cross her later. She walked forward and raised her right hand as if to stab Roland with the knife. Suddenly she felt dizzy and a sharp pain went through her head. She tried to bring the knife down in a slicing motion and then she collapsed to the ground before she could. Barely conscious and shaking uncontrollably, she suddenly found herself somewhere... else.

She ran through the woods, several gunshots rang out behind her. "I... I don't wanna die..." She knew she was being followed, after fleeing into the woods from Highway 19, State Police had joined in the chase. They seemed a bit more trigger happy than the local sheriff's department and they seemed pretty eager to kill her. Then she came to a cliff that overlooked a river...

JT was back in the room again, on the floor. At this point with her current unlucky streak thus far, she knew better than to do anything, so he decided that she'd stay on the floor and pretend to be unconcsious.

OOC: eee... flashbacks, total deja vu for me...

The impact threw Elizabeth to the floor. “Get-get the fuck offa me!” she shouted. She held onto the gun for dear life, but it was not enough. Roland was able to pry it from her hands. She growled. Her rage, which had been down to a low simmer beforehand, was back to full strength. And starting to boil over...
And then, it did.
To those who can actually see energy, they would have seen some massive buildup of sorts within Elizabeth’s body, concentrating in her hands. Even those who couldn’t see energy would know something was up- the room felt...charged, for lack of a better word.
“You asked for this,” Elizabeth snarled. And then, in an instant, the room’s charged feeling, the energy in her body, it all disappeared. Roland was flung backwards, but the gun was not, and, lacking a holder, fell to the floor. After what she had just done, Elizabeth looked visibly drained, barely managed to crawl over and retrieve the gun.
“It’s mine. You can’t have it,” Elizabeth wheezed, “It’s mine.”

OOC: BTW, if you’re wondering why something like this isn’t included in her profile, it’s because it’s part of the plot. M’kay? Also, Roland only got flung, so what happened after that is their choice.

"I assume that everybody has settled down a decent amount now?" Aderyn asked, still not dropping the long bow, "good, now that that is settled we need to decide a course of action, however that course of action will be IN A CALM MANNER! understand? good! now anybody have any ideas on how we get the fuck out of this place?"

Kyne came out from behind the pillar, lowering his shield and folding his tail into a stool. The remainder of kyne's tail was agitatedly sweeping across the floor, "Well, if magic is basically a pointless venture here, then i've got dang near nothing," he said, arms folded across his chest.

[Roland Voidheart]

(OOC: New Character, everybody! This is my first time using him, so try to be gentle :P)

Roland was flung back by Elizabeth, and would have landed in the lobby's fountain if it weren't for a cold metal hand closing around his wrist. The hand pulled him over to its owner, and Roland was face-to-mask with a fox-faced, gray-fleshed Synth Reaper.
"HaLO-13, number 1327, Roland VoidHeart," it said in a monotonous tone of voice.
It looked around the room, turning its head from side to side in small jerks.
"Hello," it said to nobody in particular, its voice creaking slightly, like a machine in need of oil. The mouth of the Synth's face mask actually moved, forming into a strange smile.
Roland, stunned slightly by the blast, said nothing, but stared at the Synth.

“What in the world...” Elizabeth mouthed, rolling onto her back, and, not leaving the floor, crawl as far away from the creature as she possibly could, a light sweat breaking out on her forehead.
